Always happy to share. Posted two more in the "Seniors & Carnesecca Arena" thread.

Just watched the game again, I know I'm stating the obvious but Dom is a beast, it's like there is 2 of him out there . He is playing himself onto a Nba roster next season. And I see people killing Greene all the time, and I know he over dribbles sometimes but he hits big shots and this team will miss him next season. I hope they can grab a few more wins and get an at large bid the seniors deserve it.

Reaching for straws.
The late game substitutions to get the seniors on the court was a criticism? LOL
I know a lot of you were at the game, but for those at home, did it bother you that the announcers were talking while the band was playing the national anthem? I found it a little strange.

Yes, it bothered me and found it unacceptable. The network should apologize.

I was checking it out from inside the building. They were the only two sitting down at the time. Fox is not so patriotic after all. Business trumps the national anthem.
Youse guys ever hear of the expression Tongue in Cheek? :dry:Seton Hall thoughts:http://www.bigeastboards.com/

Ridiculous. Thought putting the five seniors on the court was a beautiful touch. Loved watching those kids hug each other and seeing the look on their faces. As good as it gets. Some people are just never happy.
Was recently voted in by the Veteran's Committee in a close vote. Apparently didn't dunk enough to impress some voters. It was GREAT to see Chris M at the game today, but very surprised he was not already in SJU Hall of Fame.

Is there any doubt Whitehead is a team destroyer? Too bad, Willard sacrificed Sina and disrupted whatever Team Chemistry existed before he came back from injury.. Wonder why they did not Medical redshirt Whitehead? Probably because he doesn't want to be in COLLEGE next year and wanted to showcase himself for NBA draft this year.
Glad he did not come to SJU, Between him and Jordan's disappearances, etc, our team would have been in shambles.
Whitehead is all about himself and, not his team. Reminds me of BORN READY, STEPENSON.
Actually, think Lance liked to win, not sure about Whitehead.
One thing I think can be discussed about this and any game going forward is that Lavin, almost brilliantly (I know the two words in the same sentence seem mutually exclusive to some) tries to milk minutes out of subs as long as he can into the early second half to keep our starters fresh and out of foul trouble. There were some complaints about the one point margin at halftime of this game. When the B team is getting major minutes the best you can hope for is to be put into a position where our top 6 or 7 with fresh legs and limited number of fouls can overwhelm the opposition in transition in the final 15 minutes of the game.
If we dance, he deserves consideration for Big East coach of the year for coaxing a tourney bid out of essentially 6 contributing players.

Right now, Holtmann is the BE coach of the year, and it's not close. No knock on anybody, just a credit to the job he's done. Unless Butler totally collapses down the stretch (they are without a key player), he's the frontrunner.
