Season Tickets

you top percentilers better leave some some (good) seats for the rest of us... lol
Lol, I already sit pretty far back so not worried about the reseat and I wish I had the money to make a dent in NIL but alas.

Also, has anyone actually donated more money bc of this? They say that’s the purpose, but I haven’t seen anyone suggest they’re making a gift to increase their point total

I think there are probably about 3500 full season seats (MSG and Queens) held by about 1500 full season individuals. Center seats in the six middle sections in the 100's at MSG won't be much of an issue. With less than 800 real seats in Queens in the lower bowl, that will create some issues....
Are the floor seats at MSG included in all the estimates and would those seat holders be included in the "percentiles"?

There were 5,500 season tickets last season, but that's now increased. Kull posted on twitter that about 1,500 or so season tickets have been added to the 5,500- (I forget the exact number, someone else posted it here on one of the threads a while ago). Kull also stated the goal was to double the 5,500 by the end of the summer, which I'm sure is just an "aspirational" goal. But assuming they achieve even half of that, you are looking at over 8,000 season tickets this coming year. Question is, where are all the new people coming from and what sections do they want to sit in?
New season ticket holders do not get priority or so stated

I had only MSG packages, I guess those won’t come out till the schedule is finalized.
You’d think that my 39 years there with basketball would get me a pass to enter MSG
I believe even the highest ranking priests and Deans below Shanley buy their own tickets. I'd have to imagine that the priests at least get a discount. I wouldn't be shocked to learn a Dean took it out of department budgets but that's never been intimated. I can assure you though, those folks gets prime seats with little priority points.

I also made a donation last week and it’s clearly not factored into the points. I imagine the ticket office does this with a pencil and a sketch pad. How hard is it to have an automated system in 2025? Crazy but why should we expect different.

Does anyone know when they are announcing the ticket prices and about how much they are increasing?
Yes, I’ve increased my donations. I had great seats to last year’s BET but not as good for this year. I also want to move my regular season tix to a better spot…I was in the corner this year and the students standing the whole game, while great for energy, made my seats challenging.

As a MSG only ticket holder (get to CA for a game here or there) from Jersey (now), I checked My Johnnies Account, ZERO points, despite a long history of (non-insignificant) donations. I just wrote an e mail and expect not to hear anything back, we'll see.
Well was I wrong. Not only did I hear back right away, I got an immediate E Mail from Ed Kull, (very nice one too!!) who he got some other people involved and I got follow up telephone calls trying to help.

For whatever reason even though my MYJOHNNIES Account said ZERO, it isn't zero, it is quite a bit more than zero. As not being a Full STH last season it defaults to ZERO for now (I think), they didn't explain that, but whatever.

Here's the deal, Full STH, get Points and then for every point, there is a 4X multiplier for each donation or contribution you make to StJ Athletics directly and 2X for donations to University-wide contributions. My Points will get established once the full STHs get squared away, and as a renewing MSG-only season ticket holder, my Points will help with Seat location at the Garden. I'm told 114 is not a high priority location and so I will more than likely be offered in 114 or they said much better 100 level seats. I did find out that years-ago donations don't get tracked, and buying season tickets (Garden-only) directly from the Garden (back in the day) counts for nothing.

I'm going to compliment the Development Office and Athletic Department on customer service with quick e mails and telephone calls and follow up.

Go Eddie Kull. It starts from the top down.

Asking for more money like the mafia does “nice seats you have there,
LOL IDraft......Like in the 1970's in Bklyn, the Italian American Anti-Defamation league came around to the Flower Shop I worked at and asked for a "donation", when the owner politely declined a few weeks later his front window was smashed in. When they asked the next time they actually said, "you know with a donation, there's a guarantee the front window will be protected".

Nice of them not to mention WHY 114 is not high priority.
