Season so far?

Grew up on 170th. and Amsterdam ave.(Washington Heights). Went to high school on 152nd. st. in the late '50's. Played outside ball with a pretty good player and great guy that went to La Salle and then onto St..John's as their point guard .

Dubois?
 
Yes. Took the "A" train to St. Johns in Brooklyn every day from the Heights. Man those were the days. $25 dollars a credit. Watched Tony Jackson, Leroy Ellis, Kevin Loughery,etc. at the old Garden, it was magic. The smells (beer, smoke, food and the crowds). The best teams in the country would come to play the Redmen. It was truly the mecca then.
 
My father was also from the Bronx and commuted to SJU. Would tell me about the good old days when MSG was packed and the NIT was the national Championship.. People forget about that, but we do have a couple of national championships under our belt.

Problem is the Red Cross games in both years we lost to the NCAA Champion
