San Francisco Pre Game Thread

We are really starting to round into shape. This isn't a bad SFU team. We have just been taking to them and are way too athletic for them and making them look real bad.
 
It is nice to be leaving a large margin in games with the Rams and the Doms...Let's keep it up
for the next two and beat weak teams by twenty plus, instead of playing to the level of the opposition.
 
Nice to also see god's Gift getting some playing time. It may be very important in a game when
Obekpa has some fouls and we need a wide body.
 
Pointer had to give up a lot of minutes today it seems.
Everyone played well and we have a lot of depth.
It is a challenge for the coach every game it seems.

Max has 2 more years. His only option is pay attention, and bust his butt.

I assume that he pays attention and busts his butt now. Maybe he becomes a useful situational player down the road. Right now I don't see him having much (if any) value to this team. I'd much rather have Marco on the court when the situation calls for it.
 
Overall a very solid game. I love how much better of ball movement is looking. The press also looked good. This team does seem to be turning the corner, but we will have to wait until league play starts to really see if that is the case.

FWIW Marco shooting 80% from the field(all 3 pointers) and 100% from the FT line on the year. Pretty lofty stats :)
 
Good passing and solid defense most of the game. Hopefully we can keep this level of play up against the mighty Youngstown and the tricky Lions and enter the Xavier war at 9-3.
