San Francisco Pre Game Thread

USF was SUPPOSED to be competitive this year. I think Rex is being very very generous in thinking that duo could replace Doolin. Without Doolin (he was a bit of a Zag Killer too) StJ should cruise. Wish I could be at the game to cheer for the Johnnies.

Agree we should cruise, but if it's anything like the Bucknell/Wagner/Longwood/Monmouth games we won't because

A.) we played poor basketball in those games

B.) San Fran is better than three of the teams I mentioned.

But, we look like we might've come a long way since those games (blowing out Fordham, having Syracuse beat until collapse at end of game)

So it'll be interesting to see if this team is ready to take the next step as a legit contender and give a knock out punch to an inferior team, or if they still like to "play down" and let these guys hang around.

Also, we get to see if Jordan's game against Cuse was a fluke (I don't think it was), or if it is what we are going to be seeing from him from here on out.

Jack, SJU needs to be in such a foul mood for knowing they had Cuse beat but gave it to them in the end, that we should go for the kill early.

It`s like in the animal world, where a top predator gets a weakling and grab its throat and rips it out from its neck.
SJU needs to be on a mission for the rest of the year. If they find themselves getting happy and satisfied then think back to the Syracuse game and how much it hurt in the end, and that fix them getting full of themselves.
Just remember one thing, Syracuse is NYs team for another year, they have the bragging rights. The one thing they could do though is play like their on a mission for the rest of the year, and it starts tonight.
Again 90-53 POUND SF INTO THE GROUND.

They do have a good inside game with an experienced big in Dickerson. Real question will be can they make up for the loss of Doolin. My gut says Harrison should have a field day.

You've gotten your point across, and instead of looking ahead to the rest of the season lets just hope they bounce back with a victory tonight.

Do we have gift and CO in at the same time? That means 3 on 5 for them when we are on offense.

CO shut me up with a nice move down low, but this is just a weird lineup.

Two baskets by CO, line drive jump hook!

He made me look dumb (not hard to do). But I never want to see a Gift, CO, Hooper and Sir'Dom in the same lineup again.
