I think Jordan will return to the starting lineup soon, but I do like the idea of one of your best players coming in as a sub. Basketball game rhythm is ebbs and flows, and a guy who can score points coming off the bench helps to ignite a team. The old Celtics were famous for that with their best player (Havlicek) often coming off the bench. The old Knicks deployed the same strategy by starting Bill Bradley over Cazzie Russell (a better scorer). Jordan off the bench supplies a lot more firepower than Branch, and with Greene and Harrison in the starting lineup supplying offense, Branch can be more effective as a starter than sub.
In any event, good to see Jordan bring his A game.

This is an excellent point. If you can get the most out of Jordan off the bench - and yesterday is proof that you can - he can provide a lift. And it's really just those first few minutes; he's playing starter's minutes the rest of the way. But there is something to be said for bringing a spark-plug off the bench, even if it means not starting your best five, especially when your rotation is as thin as ours is.

A small point, but Jordan on several occasions played Paschall tough when he tried to post him up when Ponter switched off him. He exhibited more concentration & dedication on defense. His physicality, when applied, helps when we go small. On another note, man is this team quick. Enjoying a potentially fine season.
All in all I am in a "Survive & Advance" mode re out of conference play. If we can do that & enter BE play, I have confidence this team can get off to a good BE start & sustain success throughout the year. (net of injuries, suspensions, etc.) Beat the Gaels!
