I was at the game last night and you could see that Moe was not himself. He was slow and very measured with his moves and jumps...likely bothered by his ankle. I agree that he will be back next year and I'm sure we all look forward to that.
.
That is why I said a few days ago Dunlap should have rested him and not play. him against Rutgers Now we play Pitt
and he is probably.hurting more TO ME HE MADE A BAD DECISION.
Perhaps they can work on his ankle.but still think he will be under 100% Feel he should not run in practice maybe they can have him shoot 500 foul shots until game time
Problem was.. he was not healthy and it showed This game did not mean much compared to a players health He did not help the team playing on one foot and now that we really need him to play against Pitt which game means more. than the Rutgers game we are at a big. disadvantage unless the.ankle is much much better
I didn't have an issue with playing him. What are we saving him for at this late stage of the season? If he's healthy enough, he needs to play when we only have a 6 man rotation. If we were deeper, he wouldn't have returned against Pitt and would have played 10 minutes or so last night to test it out and see if he could be effective. At this point, we're just playing the cards we're dealt. I give Moe credit for playing through the discomfort and not complaining about it.
