Coming from Paultz and Sammy A, there must be some truth behind them. That's how I'm viewing it anyway.

Either way, this story is beginning to overshadow our tournament appearance, and that's a shame.

But..
1) did they know the test was coming?
2) was it a random sju test? Or requested by the ncaa pre-tournament?
3) did sju have to report when it did?

Bottom line is SL is done at sju.

Let me see if my count is correct here. If this information is true then we are headed to Charlotte with just a four man bench. Balamou, Alibegovic, De La Rosa and Ndiaye. That is scarily thin.

Looks like we will have to play the way we did against Marquette. A game where four of our starters playing the full forty minutes. If I am San Diego State I push for a physical game with lots of whistles and fatigue.

Lets pray Branch's groin holds out, no one else gets hurt and no one gets into foul trouble.

It's getting to the point that I'm afraid to go to this forum for fear of more bad news. I did say to myself earlier that no news is good news. But I also knew the day wasn't over.

At what point does the staff have to assume part of the blame? Does the entire team need to be suspended first?

Rumor was Mike Jarvis was to be fired. Accusations ranged from players arrested, assaults on coeds, drug use, insubordination, recruiting apathy etc. The Maven came to his defense. Denied rumors. Jarvis was fired the following day.

I nominate as our next coach the coach from Dazed and Confused. He made all of his players sign a commitment letter promising not to get high. Of course his star QB refused to sign and instead drove off stoned with Mathew Mcconaughy to get Aerosmith tickets.

Don't know him (have seen him at games from time to time) but have to say that his tweets are a bit personal and bizarre

A part of me right now is wishing we had not qualified for the tournament. All of the positives associated with that are now ruined by all of this negative press. Would have been better to disappear into the offseason.
