Sammy doing what he does best! Burning up the wireless wires to ask probing questions always keen to acquire a certain response. Typically it goes along these lines: "whatya got 4 me? " " I heard so and so say....is it true?" Then spin it to crucify Lavin. I feel for a couple of old St. John's insiders being used as tools in the process. I suspect a couple of these soon to be retired folks have nothing to lose since they are being told they are on a sinking ship. Zero positive voice of support for the team. ZERO! This where I break ranks in the crusade. Nothing like putting out fires with gasoline.

Between all of the Jordan BS, suspensions, black eyes, refusing to go in games, Lavin's crazy quotes, you could not do an April Fools thread for the program. Anything and everything in play for this program. Seriously what thread would be unbelievable at this point? Obekpa abducted by aliens? Greene kidnapped by longtime JJ poster? Jordan retires to play baseball? Harrison gets Tyson face Tattoo? Pointer changes name to a symbol? ADR eats Jamal Branch?

Coming from Paultz and Sammy A, there must be some truth behind them. That's how I'm viewing it anyway.
Either way, this story is beginning to overshadow our tournament appearance, and that's a shame.
But..
1) did they know the test was coming?
2) was it a random sju test? Or requested by the ncaa pre-tournament?
3) did sju have to report when it did?
Bottom line is SL is done at sju.

Let me see if my count is correct here. If this information is true then we are headed to Charlotte with just a four man bench: Balamou, Alibegovic, De La Rosa and Ndiaye. That is scarily thin.
Looks like we will have to play the way we did against Marquette, a game where four of our starters played the full forty minutes. If I am San Diego State I push for a physical game with lots of whistles and fatigue.
