To be fair to UCONN - when your first home is in Storrs it's only natural to want to get people to believe your second home is in Manhattan.
We have some talent on the team and some coming in. It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few months. I saw Curbelo retweet a tweet about Speedy Claxton and Hofstra last night. Like I said interesting few months ahead.

With the wonderful Pitino news, Cooley to Georgetown and 3 Big East teams in the sweet sixteen, it's been quite the last few days for the Big East.
Looks like April 19 a Wednesday. Will have it finalized in a week or but but I’d say 99% chance it’s that dayFirst round on me at Novita brothers, let's get a date MJM!

About 2 hours ago I got fed up with all the whining here as I thought the comments by Fordham were substantial and pointed in the right direction and it wasn't time to jump off the bridge. I shut down and went out for a 2 hour walk on the beach on the Irish Riviera. I get home and logged on and saw the thread no longer had ??? but was !!! and was curious. Openned up and got this great news. Can't wait for the season 23/24 to begin. It is great to see some one consider that us 70 year old boomers are not considered useless and ready for the ash heap. Also realized that my season tickets of 43 years just rocketed in value; nolonger have to give away what we can't use but great resale value (but fear, that won't be missing games in the future). Go Johnnies and welcome Rick.

Great news and love when the positive energy picks up on this site. As many others on here, I was growing so tired of high expectations, while continuing to fall so woefully short. Was great to hear all the buzz about our program while watching the opening weekend of the tournament. Time for a new brand to be built here and more along the lines of our storied past. Very exciting!!!

Pitino reached the N.C.A.A. men’s tournament with Iona this season. He takes over at St. John’s after being ousted from Louisville in 2017.
Apparently SJU hired some guy from a local mid-major. Fantastic news!!
