I literally was telling friends today at a friends bday party how my ummm not so legal video empire came to a crashing end sophomore year in high school ( 86 ) which was the result of to kill a mockingbird and porn. If we ever meet I'll tell you the story it literally changed the trajectory of my life and I'm 50-50 if it was for the better or not and the worst thing my father made me get a regular freaking job that paid like 3.35 an hour which was minimum wage back then ( that slave labor definitely impacted me for the better making me realize I'm never settling for that shit again )I remember having WHT and trying to see boobies through the static. Good times
That was the funniest thing. Being called an elitist was kinda funny because I'm pretty much the opposite and almost everyone here on the board has met me except for the guy who called me it.Didn't log on until afternoon today and I really can't believe I had to wade through a bunch of pages where there are people still paranoid, still saying he'd go to Georgetown, still worried he's staying at Iona. Are we really this beaten down as a fanbase?
And apparently I missed Maher being called an elitist.
Elitist is what I would be if I had his job and his passport. He's pretty mellow all things considered.
No reason to meet with the Iona higher ups and the players for anything other than "Thanks for everything, I'm leaving".Just fyi, fits with recent media spin, from Zach.:
The latest: A source close to Rick Pitino said the meeting went very well and it is trending in the right direction for him to take the job. No decision, the source said, has been made. Pitino and St John's administrators discussed what has to happen to make the program successful again and the school was receptive to what Pitino felt is important for that to happen, the source said. Pitino is planning to meet with Iona higher-ups and his players on Monday.
Agree 100%.No reason to meet with the Iona higher ups and the players for anything other than "Thanks for everything, I'm leaving".
Not sure what the seemingly coordinated reluctance is among the Twitter bluechecks like Zach and Zags in saying it's a done deal.
With Rick as coach, we'll need to get back on the radio and not any of those BS station, we need to be on a real radio station.BTW Above article hot off the presses.
I'd love to know, because I've only noticed him three times and each time he had a hard-on for you.New screen name. Who dis?
Imagine the meltdown here if Iona counters with $12 million a year.No reason to meet with the Iona higher ups and the players for anything other than "Thanks for everything, I'm leaving".

I’m kinda shocked that we got to $4.5m/yr + the buy out. How did we mess up so badly post Kevin Clark with that kinda war chest? Check out the company we will be in.Imagine the meltdown here if Iona counters with $12 million a year.
I believe SJU will pay the buyout and Repole will pay Pitinos salaryI’m kinda shocked that we got to $4.5m/yr + the buy out. How did we mess up so badly post Kevin Clark with that kinda war chest? Check out the company we will be in.

I wonder how many posters who are applauding this were saying not to long ago that Coach Carnesecca should never be allowed anywhere near another coaching search.Legendary coach Lou Carnesecca says its Rick Pitino or no one, as St. John's head basketball coach
St. John's is reportedly seeking to complete a deal with Rick Pitino in the coming days. According to FOX Sports, the university plans to finalize a deal with the Hall of Famer and that the ball is now in his court to decide.www.fox5ny.com
I think a lot of people have changed their tune, including I assume a majority of the BOT, which in the past would not have gone this route. But, it is a basketball stoke of great fortune, if it happens as expected. St. John's and its fans are not used to good fortune on the court (not in a long while anyway).I wonder how many posters who are applauding this were saying not to long ago that Coach Carnesecca should never be allowed anywhere near another coaching search.
Please enjoy a Balvenie or glenfiddich the best in the world....but I'm a little biased.....Single malt scotch, Ohio fans favourite.
