Rick Pitino - Head Coach at St John’s University!!!

Brady looks like he realized that on a stacked roster, bulking up enough to be plugged in at the four is a recipe for getting good minutes.
I actually won't believe Brady at the 4 will happen. Actually though in a big lineup, Brady at the 2 may cause nightmares to guard and give us a rebounding edge.

Can we add this to our zuby bet beast 😄

I personally don’t see Brady being the one guarding 2s in any lineup unless for a switch.

I think Brady will be guarding plenty of 1s and 2s this year…because the opposing team will be targeting him on pick & rolls

Not an issue if we are in a zone. Then his length is a real benefit
At the 2? Hes gonna be responsible for keeping guards out of the paint in the zone. But if we put him on the bottom of a zone I think that’s the same as saying he’s not gonna guard 2s.

A lineup with Richmond, three big wings (Luis, Scott, Dunlap) and a big would be pretty interesting. That would create mismatches all over the place.
Agreed, and with this one as an example, I think some combo of Richmond, Scott, or Luis would be more likely to guard the 1+2, with Dunlap taking a wing or forward.

Would Brady fair better against this group: Kam Jones, Devin Carter, Trey Alexander

Or this group: Baylor Schierman, Alex Karaban, Jahmyl Telfort

Obviously those are all tough matchups that anyone would struggle to defend, but just as an archetype I think it’s much more feasible he could guard “up” than guard “down”.

Nowadays they just list the 5th year guys as Grads so no need to add the RS.

Yeah but the last 4 classes didn’t need a RS to get the 5th year. Ayo would. Plus I’m pretty sure Drissa was listed as a RS last year. I just would hate to see him lose that year of eligibility like we saw with Felix.
