I feel like I’m officially getting a feel for the Rick pitino experience.

Kinda like Danny Hurley, you know, having trouble controlling himself in the heat of the moment, in the midst of competing. And let me clue you in, if you look close enough, it is the feel of an awful lot of coaches experience.

I’m not tryna argue with someone who thinks people can say whatever they want and it’s all good as long as they’re competing. I took Rick to task for his comments the same way I took Hurley to task for his. Just because I’m making my peace with what the pitino experience is going to be like doesn’t change the point I was making whatsoever. God bless though.

And by the way, i respect a man who’s able to admit that he spoke out of pocket the other day and apologize to those who he spoke about. I don’t respect a man who just posts a fucking meme as his response to the backlash lol. There’s an immaturity to Danny Hurley that I can see clear as day, and you having a couple beers with him or something ain’t gonna change that one bit 😂

In my mind the press covering it was worse than the actual press conference comments. But once that happens, Shanley probably gets slightly concerned and tells Rick to throw cold water on it. That's what we are seeing.

No, let’s be clear, I believe people can pretty much say whatever they want, whenever they want, short of the old yelling fire in a theater. Free speech is free speech, and if you are so soft you are offended by words, that’s on you.
And just to also be clear, I am far from feeling the need to respond to every comment directed at me but I did take a dig at you for your hypocrisy regarding Pitino and Hurley. Rationalize it all you want, it’s hypocrisy at its finest.

No it’s not lol. Nice false equivalency and attempt to hide just like you did in the other thread.

You ducked me in the other thread, hiding because “politics” were referenced.

When really all I did was break your argument by showcasing that there is always a line that can be crossed, yes even in the heat of competition.

That line is different for everybody. I personally felt Rick was wrong in the way he spoke the other day. I felt it was wrong for Hurley to speak and act the way he often does. Can I understand why coaches are often emotional and stressed out? Sure!

But words still matter buddy, I’ll let our coach, who correctly apologized for his comments instead of posting a stupid meme, say it best:
