I'm a big fan of Pitino but the "chop me up into seven pieces..." story made me cringe. No, I don't think coach is likely to butcher any of the current roster, but media/social media love to pile on when someone is wounded. That clip could make the rounds for a bit...

I can only speak for myself but that clip actually made me feel better about this whole Pitino controversy.

Just seeing a player be able to laugh it off, acknowledge that it never bothered him, and maintain that he loved playing for the guy kind of reassured me that despite that whole mess, Pitino can still find guys that fit with his style. Even if I think his style can be pretty ragged and immature after losses.

UF has way more to offer Clayton (NIL), He is going to the NCAA Tournament this year. SJU isn't and question mark about next year.
I think he stays put
If Pitino doesn't turn this around by next year, I think he will be history

Though I don't disagree with your premise I think it's a bit delusional. Maybe if he wasn't living with his kid so close to his family . . . Just bringing that up because you can't seem to let it go.

Yes, because everyone then and now took that story literally. LOL

I mean even Slaz and the media were laughing. I'm a snowflake liberal but some of the moral outrage over the past four days has been way over the top.
