Rick’s Targets

Given his relationships with Jenkins and Quinn would be very surprised if we don't get him. I actually think a backcourt of Jenkins-Noah-Alleyne is pretty good with hopefully Demary too.
If Demary is included, very hard to complain about that. Plus, maybe Cruz takes a leap. Does Thomasson have one or two years of eligibility left?

With only 5 scholarships left and supposedly 2 of them slotted for bigs, not sure if it's possible staff will take on both Taylor and Dunlap unless Demary is not in the equation, but who knows

If Thomasson is a lock that leaves four left. I'd like another guard, a wing, and a beefy PF. The last ship idc.

After skipping a bunch of the posts over the last few pages because well, I am not ready to hit the ignore button but I had to scroll back to the top of this one to see what thread I was on.

So right now for Ricks Targets not counting the ones we have signed, we have Dunlap visiting this weekend, Thomasson next week and Demary is still in play and Ryan and Ledlum picking other programs this week.

Any other updates on players we are targeting?
I think Glenn Taylor, a wing from Oregon State, is supposed to visit early next week, and the Staff has reached out to Darius Brown, guard, and RaeQun Battle, a wing, both from Montana State in sunny Bozeman (lo).
I think Rick / Mas reached out to Mackenzie Mgbako, #7/8 in the '23 class, last week, but he's a jackpot guy so you can imagine the odds are likely long and slim with him.

Oh, I forgot Thomasson, next week, but I already count him 'in', so just 4 'ships left.

could've been moved due to MSG hosting Knicks/Rangers playoffs
Happened to a friend of mine, he and his wife HAD tickets for Saturday night Billy Joel...WERE going to make a day of going into the City, they live near Sparta, NJ...concert moved to Tuesday night, now he has to drag his ass into the City after working all day, and get home late for work day the following day...and no, can't just take days off.

Brady, Silas, and Spencer Mahoney would be a solid freshman class to get...this late, imo.
SD the longest shot of the three, but we can hope.

one of the only players this past season that I had to google during a game because I was so impressed by the way he played against us. Will be a very solid pick up if it happens

This will also be nice because I am still salty we didn't get Antoine Mason to commit here and he went to Auburn instead. Absolute bucket who transferred from Niagara as well
But but but…he’s a mid major so what’s to be excited about? 🤪😉😊

You mean when scores of high majors are after him also? Lol.
Get the goose before it goes into the bush is my mantra.
In this day and age though, maybe he's developing well behind the scenes but stuck behind Slazinski and someone else and then transfers because he's getting no PT and we get a few 4**!

I have no problem with grabbing mid major players as long as they showed an ability to go off against the competition at that level.

What I don't get excited for is guys like Cruz Davis and Sean Conway who were very middle tier players even at their level. Cruz I will wait and see on cause he is young and Pitino clearly sees something in him.

But the Conway signing, all due respect to him, still has me scratching my head. he did not have a particularly great season on probably the worst team in all of college basketball last year so I am not confident hes gonna walk into the Big East and have a good season. I would love to see him prove me wrong though

We also had tickets to see Billy Joel Saturday and are flying from NC to visit our daughters and see the concert which we will now miss.
However my daughter is taking her Dad to Knick game Sunday so all is not lost!
