Definitely a much better free throw shooter than Dylan. My buddy who has watched him play a fair amount says he's a good shooter but not particularly quick.

Interesting. Pretty meh player on a horrific team. Not much of a shooter but had an absurdly high FT rate. Kid lived at the line.

I’m trying to figure that out myself. He was signed and happy a month ago when a was here. I can’t envision anything having changed on the NIL side of things, unless they’re trying to get more and leverage their position as Rick has to fill a whole roster. I don’t think that would work, plus plenty of schools would love to grab Gardener. Also could be he wants to see the players we bring in? Purely speculation of course but it is an odd comment. Frankly, the kid isn’t going to find better coaching and pro prep than Rick Pitino.

A new coach comes into any program and they have to recruit the current players as well as those outside the program. That includes commits who haven’t stepped on campus. It’s only fair since we’ve run off the other commits.
