Hypothetically, could Wilcher secure an NIL deal that includes enough for him to pay his way as a walk on? Seems like too obvious a loophole that that P5 football schools would have already exploited.

As someone who is a Florida football fan who follows recruiting closely, if the staff really wants someone, never worry about the numbers. When there is a will there is a way.

Do all "preferred walk-ons" get the same team privileges as scholarship players, sans the actual scholarship? If that's the case, this is truly a no-brainer move in the age of NIL.

Seems hard to believe that Pitino wouldn’t have been aware of any graduation issues with Jenkins. In any event very exciting times in Queens.

I’ll say this. Out of the 13 guys we have, if we’re to have to lose any of them WITHOUT being able to replace them. Jenkins would have been 3rd biggest loss right behind Joel and Dingle.

As exciting as a top 40 freshmen is, I would agree with Mug who said he’d rather Jenkins for this year alone. Maybe it’s not as If/or as that.
