Unfortunately. That kid is a winner. However, plenty of power forwards entering the portal this week. Surprise! surprise! The staff seems ready with a good roster to entice another good player to finish it off.
I was never against hiring Pitino. In fact I have always been a big fan of his coaching abilities. I was against fans that were willing to overlook Pitino's past, and those who were willing to sell their soul to the devil to get Pitino. Once hired I thought he was too quick to jettison the whole team. I was against posters making ridiculous claims without the knowledge to do so and the over exuberance displayed for every move that he made. This roster will not pass my eye test until I see them play. It seems he has brought in some good players (Dingle, Luis, Taylor), lots of seniors who will be gone next year, and a bunch of margnal players) Pitino's biggest hurdle will be making a cohesive basketball team out of 12 players who have never played together before. (yeah, yeah I know 4 Iona players. Big deal. The only one I am hoping can play is Jenkins at PG.

Consistently whining about the dismantling of last years team... consistently questioning and mocking every single recruit brought in and consistently weeping over every recruit missed out on.
Most of us on the other hand were pretty consistent as well... Consistently saying we should probably wait for the full process to play out and then evaluate the team once it is fully constructed.
Us sheep have been waiting decades for a hall of fame sheep herder... Now he's here... Happy to wear that sheep badge... ( Mehhhh -- insert your sheep noise here)

We shall see. I think he’s done a remarkable job from taking the job during the first week of March with almost all of the top 100 HS seniors already committed to colleges. By the way, at what point does a guy who’s been out of the big time in college college coaching for years and gotten right with his family get to receive some level of forgiveness. I guess never. I haven’t, nor has anybody else “sold their soul”. That’s just extreme. At some point, I gotta think the guy has paid the price for the things he’s done.

Last seasons performance has nothing to do with the question you asked me. I have said multiple times that last years performance was atrocious. However, I put the blame on both the coach and the players. Your 2nd statement makes absolutely no sense despite your use of paragraphs.
My last sentence make absolutely no sense? Ok. Sure.
But how about if I break it down like this: You would rather come here following a poor season and say ”I told you so” than see Pitino succeed here.
And last season’s performance does have merit because you wanted Pitino to keep many of the players, despite their implosion.
