Rick’s Targets

Get Dingle and SJ will have a deep, flexible, lengthy group of shooters which is a must in college hoops today and rarity here for so long. In a guards game, this group should be fun. Lastly, Joel will benefit a ton Imo, with an array of shooters to kick to when doubled.
Soriano may become lonely in the paint as defenses will be out guarding the three point line respecting our shooters.

Soriano may as well practice his layups because he will have a number of them in games.

I hope we get Mack. I have a good amount of friends that went to Bloomington so would be nice to have bragging rights. If you want an Sorostitute from Central Jersey then IU is a great place. However, IU is shell of what it once was its similar Notre Dame football. If we lose out to KU, it is what it is.

Don’t take offense. I am making sure you don’t go soft on us with your predictions just because a poster attached fake news statistics on your winning percentage. 😉
He is back over Mendoza line.
Will give him credit for 4-4 day if Dingle comes.
Mgbako always seemed like long shot so if doesn’t come it won’t count as an at bat.

If Mgbako wants to be developed and prepared for the NBA, IU would be a big mistake
I don't think that Woodson is a very good coach
Most of my friends who are IU fans would agree
In that case, you IU friends should openly and frequently post their opinions on Woodson’s coaching acumen, and encourage Mgbako to pick SJU.

Tell them if they do that, we will be rooting for them to dominate the Big Ten.

And if we had gotten Ledlum, would we really even be in the running for MM or the Taylor/Luis combo?
I think initially we were all taken back by Clayton jr going to Florida . I just assumed that he and Jenkins were Rick’s starting backcourt next season .
His defection had to be a surprise to Pitino and to Jenkins . But, as others have pointed out , in retrospect , Clayton opened up spots for Alleyne . And , others .

Dingle and Mackenzie would be a nice Daily Double with a big payout on next Season’s record .

I think he has been ok so far. If they don't like Woodson I can only imagine what they say about Archie Miller. That said I would say he is closer to Kevin Willard then Tom Izzo. Mgbako would be a huge get for them as they need to keep an upward trajectory.

The biggest mistake they made was getting rid of Kelvin Sampson. They know it too.

I would disagree about Sampson . He was on a path at IU that would have gotten them severe penalties from the NCAA .

IU thinks of themselves as a Blue Blood BB school in the class of Kentucky , Duke , NC , Kansas , etc

Sampson has a well earned reputation as a bit of a Dirt Bag ,

He’s perfect for schools like Houston, Oklaloma , etc . That don’t adhere to quite the standards as other schools

The President and AD at IU that hired Sampson were both fired as a result .

When Ricky gets us to the top 10 in the next couple of years players won't be talking about IU. Indiana is going to be stuck where they are now. Can't see Woodson out-recruiting other B10 teams. When SJU and Georgetown get back to relevance the Big East will be the best conference in CBB,

KS definitely plays loose with the rules. Like they say you play with fire you will get burned...
