Kidding aside are you talking/drooling Mgbako or Dingle Kringle? Seems we have a better chance of Dingle popping one way or the other but he is waiting on the NBA evaluation?
 
With Dingle apparently a SJ lean 🤞, Mgbako still alive, Ware visit being set up I guess there is not much more to ask for. To me if we get Dingle, not a guarantee of course, I am happy. Mack is obviously “gravy” if Rick can pull it off. If not, he’ll have competent alternatives imo. Nice job by staff this crazy cycle and hopefully a competitive season awaits.

We were all pretty upset when we lost Clayton to Florida. Now that looks like a blessing, and all of a sudden Florida is trying to come in late and steal another one from us. The irony! Not to mention Florida's backcourt looks pretty crowded IMO
 
I have no basis for my opinion other than I thought Mgbako’s Parents looked especially pleased and happy in their photo wearing St John’s gear .

And , Mackenzie wearing number 21 Malik Sealy’s number was just icing on the Cake .

I’m sure the other Schools also went all out with his visit , just as we did .

What do we offer him that the other Schools don’t ? Substantial playing time in NY and at MSG , where NBA Scouts are always in attendance .

He is already projected as a 1 and done player and who better than Rick to get him prepped for the next level . Self and Woodson are great Coaches , with Woodson trying to get IU back to where their fans expect them to be. Final 4 almost every year .

Rick has. already done that , several times over .


Adding Mgbako and Dingle to the Players Rick has recruited , puts us in top 25 ranking territory next season .
 
Get Dingle and SJ will have a deep, flexible, lengthy group of shooters which is a must in college hoops today and rarity here for so long. In a guards game, this group should be fun. Lastly, Joel will benefit a ton Imo, with an array of shooters to kick to when doubled.
