Exciting times to be a johnnies fan..unbelievable turn around in such short order. Seems like Rick just needed to get the ball rolling a little w Jenkins and now we’re making real inroads. Holding out hope for Mgabko spell check on that one. But that would be the real cherry on top and if he committed excitement would be thru the roof.

Maybe Quinn gets the start but I’d still venture to guess we’d see plenty of times with the two forwards being Luis and Taylor. Plus Ware getting some there in addition to backup C.

Quinn averaged just below 20 min the year he played 30 games at Iona. But he did play over 20 his sophomore year at Louisville when he was 6Th man and they went 13-7. So maybe shocked was a stretch but I’d be doubtful.

The Iona player is Slasinsky and the Frosh is Dunlap.

At this point , I would think the backcourt will be Jenkins and Alleyne to start . Soriano at Center . Dingle and Taylor . Maybe Slasinsky in the early season due to knowledge with Pitino system .

That would change in the likelihood we get Mgbako . Likelihood is a hopeful word .

Agree with that but Jenkins, Dingle, and Soriano could easily get 85 so at the end of the day it would be mostly an 8 man rotation.
