Rick’s Targets

The way some of our commitments have rolled it, with the articles and the quotes and the graphics etc all seemingly being prepped ahead of time. I wonder if they have been confirmed ahead of time (days?) and waiting for SJU and Pitino’s word to release it. Obviously the staff knows before all, but how far ahead? Maybe that’s tough to believe for some.

Makes me wonder if they would want some other guys to announce real soon to get a separate guy who’s nearing a decision more excited about the opportunity.

Agree but Pitino’s PT will also be determined by effort and practices. Maybe he surprises everyone. The key thing is unlike other years, we don’t need to count on him to contribute. And with him and his dad’s makeup, we can reasonably be confident they’re here for the long haul to reap the benefits of player development and understanding the system.

Let’s assume we get RJ, Dingle and Ware.
First off seems like would be solid team capable of making the tournament.
As far as Pt goes:
Soriano, Dingle and Jenkins going to get 30+ mins. Say 65 mins

Figure Ware 22 backing up 4 and 5

Iona kid figure between 20 and 25 let’s call it 23.

5th starter/ 6th and 7th man figure to be split between Taylor, RJ and Alleyne. Figure 66 mins

That is roughly 176 mins out for 200 for your top 8 guys

Leaves around 24 for Davis, Conway and the Freshman

If we land all 3 I would be shocked if Slazinski gets close to 25 minutes. Assuming that’s the “Iona kid”.
