Reel him in 79!!!How about this...he was wrong. First off nothing has been said publically ...secondly, their is a leader, its not SJU but no decision has been made and SJU has a real shot

I believe '79 said NIL is not the top consideration. So that to me would mean there is a school he/ his people like but could change if NIL money is better elsewhere. If that is the case then it would appear we are not well positioned.
Not claiming anything just inspired by detective Monte.
No idea, not sure if you have a favorite going in what could change your mind. For me would have been the threesome they gave Ray Allen in He Got Game. Can’t speak for the kid and never seen him play. Saw his dad play though.I believe '79 said NIL is not the top consideration.
Sounds like you are correct.I have no info but wonder if it’s Indiana…
Be careful you just implied Mike Woodson might be better choice than Pitino. People will now be mean to you lolIncorrect. The biggest NIL offer will be Indiana, by a decent amount. If he choices IU to will NOT be solely on the NIL but on the quality of the program, opportunity and to play for a coach who he believes will grow his game, the criteria for whatever school he chooses. My point...if a school came along and BLEW him away with NIL offer but didn't offer him what he was looking for in other areas he wound not even consider it
In other words Wright State offered him a million dollars and a threesome he'd say noIncorrect. The biggest NIL offer will be Indiana, by a decent amount. Not my kind of kid thenIn other words Wright State offered him a million dollars and a threesome he'd say no
Well "they" never said who was in this three way. That could get pretty ugly! "Not that there is anything wrong with that"Not my kind of kid then
Have to think we have a decent shot if basketball-development is the driving factor. Woodson is a solid basketball coach for sure -- I thought overall he did pretty good with the Hawks and Knicks -- but objectively I don't think he's at Pitino's level from a purely coaching perspective. And I'd say that even if Woodson were our coach and Pitino was coaching Indiana.Incorrect. The biggest NIL offer will be Indiana, by a decent amount. If he choices IU to will NOT be solely on the NIL but on the quality of the program, opportunity and to play for a coach who he believes will grow his game, the criteria for whatever school he chooses. This guy has been pretty good so far and he just posted the below….

Totally agree. Very unlikely we land a top prospect in advance of next year. Not saying we "need" to land Dingle but we kind of do. If we're missing on the marquee targets that are going elsewhere because of more NIL and missing on the marquee targets that don't have NIL as their top priority then exactly which marquee guys are we gonna land?
