Considering just a few months ago people were worrying about the big east basically dying I think this is fantastic news. I could care less about West Virginia. To be quite honest I won't miss Pitt well because they are in Pittsburgh and other than Primante Brothers I'm not really sure why I'd want to go there some time.
I really want to road trip to memphis so that's going to be great. Any excuse to go eat some cheese steaks in Philly is always good.
Most importantly I think this ends a recruiting tactic by other coaches against us about the uncertainty of the Big East with recruits.
Yeah I'll miss Cuse but one thing Lavin has made very clear is he believes in playing a top notch schedule ( he said this again on saturday at the dribble for the cure event after the game )
So no matter what our team will be playing big time games in the Big East and out of conference
Have you ever been to Primante Brothers? I went to Pittsburgh for Jets/Steelers AFC Championship game last January and we heard all about this place so we went there the night before the game. So unbelievably overrated. They even ran out of bacon! How the hell do you run out of bacon? It's basically a condiment! I mean the food was fine but nothing earth shattering. I've had better sandwiches at basically any deli I've ever been to in NY. Anyway, sorry to take this OT, but I always go on this rant whenever someone brings up Primante Brothers
