Repole on the radio

Our most wealthy and biggest donor commenting on Bobby and Oliva...........

"I have kind of met them. I think they are scared of me. I don't know why"

This is unparalleled dysfunction.

Any way we can contact/email Repole and thank him? That was seriously INCREDIBLE!

This is why I've been so lenient towards Cragg, it's not his fault. I knew something was up with our "leadership".
Wow. Just wow.

And to those who questioned airing dirty laundry or being too harsh on Oliva, I say BULL! Maybe now that this is all out in the open, the BOT will do something about it.
I suspect that was a big goal. But that was also some amazing stream of consciousness anger.

His rant about being a private university with no accountability was so true. These guys are insulated, in an ivory tower, accountable to nobody. Sort of like the church itself. But to let one of your most successful, vocal, and passionate boosters get to this point, where he’s on a 50k watt radio station literally telling the president of the university to resign, we are officially dead in the water. So sad, but this university has been run like a joke for the last 25 years.

Yes. Big time. It's not exactly dirty laundry. Most of us on here knew about this, it now has an audience.
Yeah.... A lot of this stuff was already known.
Us knowing it, and Repole (an insider and huge donor) saying it on a nationally syndicated radio show, is very very different
Doesn't matter. If you know the game, then you know the game. He just had a soapbox to speak on it.

I'm not sold on Cluess based on the reasons I've presented. Obviously, he is sold on him. But I surmise he would toss his reel in the water for a bigger and better fish, if possible.

Wow! Either that will get the two idiots and BOT to let Cragg do whatever he wants to do and just maybe he can get a good coach in place in the next few days or the program is really going into the dark ages in a way that will make the Norm years looks the glory years.

Wow. That. Was. Awesome. Looks like a lot of people on this board have gotten a lot of things right.

Repole could have replaced Mad Dog. What passion and energy.

How could Bobby and Oliva not have any type of relationship with the school’s biggest and most passionate donor? Unreal.

Wow! He just flamed the program along with Oliva and Gempeshaw. I believe him for the most part, but something doesn’t add up. He says you have to make sure Mullin is successful and they didn’t. How does that square with recruiting and paying Slice huge money to recruit players? Did Oliva blow out Slice? That’s not what anybody thinks.

He came off like a Mike show caller. Not a good look......for anyone involved. What a disaster. Get a coach already and move on.

Any poster not hearing mike repole should somehow get a hold of the interview -
WOW so sad what’s happening and how our AD Mike Cragg is being stymied
:(

Fwiw, tons of play on Twitter over the interview. Hopeful Zach B reads Zags twitter recap and writes an article on it

Have to think that any of the coaches that are in the pipeline (Jones, Odom, Cluess, etc, etc.) after hearing that interview are now scratching their heads if they want to come to SJU.

That was quick!

This will either embarrass the University, Prez Bobby, Oliva, et al. into doing the right thing for the program or it will cause them to dig in further. I’m guessing the latter unfortunately
