New guys impressive;

Posh a tough leader w great hands
Dylan has a nice future here
Toro heady
Moore very smooth and better passer than I thought
McG distributed fine & pesky on D
Cole has stroke we expected and growth will be on D end of things

Noobs lead the returning players 60-33 at the half. New guys are definitely going to contribute a ton this year. All the new guys have been quite good. Moore and Posh stand out but Toro has also done a lot. Posh is going to be our Pg for sure. He can shoot well too. Moore has a lot of skill. Can shoot and pass as well as block shots. Cole can really shoot, McGriff will also contribute as he’s extremely quick with good pure-pg type skill set.

Beat returning players have been Earlington and Dunn. Williams playing pretty well too. Robert’s having a tough time with Moore and Toro in there. Champs not playing today. Caraher’s shooting has been the way it was last year, he’s missing everything. The newcomers simply bring more.

Killing it. Lineup of posh, Moore, toro, Cole, Wusu beating our returning guys 33-15 right now... Moore has been tough to stop. Posh looks excellent at both ends with 2 treys.[/quote]

Thanks a bunch MCNPA.
In what ways is Moore scoring?

Nice, thanks for update. They said anything about Champ yet? Hope nothing serious with him, arguably the most important returning piece.

Jumpers, dunks etc. versatile player. Runs the court like one of the guards. Soft touch on his shot too.

LOL! You win the internet today!

Thanks for the writeup. Really excited about moore. Having a 5 who can block shots and has a soft touch on jumpers???? very encouraging.

Mcgriff going to play a very important role too. Having a pg who can distribute when posh needs a blow will be huge. We had 0 pgs last year, now we have 2. No one got easy baskets last year. Guys like champy and duke will really flourish getting the ball from in pgs in prime spots to score.

60-33?.hmmmm
Is this a case of the newbies excited for their college game and wanting to show what they got, and the returning players really not caring, or is the newbies really this much better?

I mean a 27pnt lead at the half?

Minor observation

McGriff is a pest defensively on the ball and a good guy to go up against Posh in practice to help hone his PG skills.

How can this be possible? I mean...none of them are even 4*s... ;)

Moore isn’t really a 5 and I doubt he wil play there much. He’s more of a stretch 4 or even a wing. He can play inside but toro and Roberta will be bodying up more of the bigs. They switched some jerseys for second half so the noobs have been mixed with returning players. Still same guys standing out. Moore, Cole picking it up.

Well played, sir. Well played.

Saw bits in pieces. Scrimmages can be tough as the players know each other but from my limited observations (again was busy and only saw bits and pieces):

Posh - looked really, really good. Pass first, penetrate and dish, hit the open three , quick hands and feet on defense.

Moore runs the court well, definitely a stretch four.

Roberts - was strong but missed several bunnies.

McGriff - was under control and played good defense

Cole - showed a nice stroke and didn't force things.

Duke of Earl - Knows how to get baskets.

No mention of what was up with Champ. Not sure what the starting five will be next week but can't wait.

I sent the request for the link at about 12:15 this afternoon (deadline was 12) and got an immediate response with the link.

I didn't see my email until I read this a few minutes ago. Also a RW member, I've sent an email to them to ask if a replay will be available? (great thing of being retired--I don't live and die with constanly monitoring email, texts and calls.

Thanks to those who offer their thoughts.

Anything on GWill?

Would be interested in the man-to-man matchups in the first half if those remember.
