Recruiting Impact on “Scandal Schools”
When the trials conclude then the spotlight should shift to the feckless NCAA to utilize information obtained to distribute consequences for deviation by schools and individuals from its Rules.

Given the fact that the burden of proof for NCAA enforcement is substantially less than required for criminal convictions (preponderance vs. beyond a reasonable doubt) there should be no excuse for the NCAA acting in a decisive manner. That having been said expect no meaningful action or reforms from the hypothetical NCAA.
All you had to do was type the last sentence. Would have saved you a few minutes of typing.

Also mentioned there is Wade, who seems like an expert cheater. He was very careful to speak in vague terms, and if that's all they've got, nothing will happen to him.
The Q of the Day is: Will any of these schools and/or coaches face any blow back, any consequences of a material degree, from the NCAA?
Boggles my mind to think, probably not.
To date, the recruiting 'impact' is... 'they' keep on coming!

None of the bluebloods will be affected. We all know this. If this and strippers can't take them down, nothing can. That being said, I'm sick of college football being ignored. If it's this bad in college hoops just imagine what goes on at Oregon, Alabama, Penn State, Michigan, FSU, Ohio State, Texas, etc. It's going to be 10x worse there.

Sickening and boggles the mind--that under these circumstances and with the sport in turmoil-- the NCAA will continue to protect its favorite schools, and ignore major charges against them, but that is what they'll do.

Just so hypocritical. Kansas & Duke are at least only quite possibly guilty of cheating. Louisville is guilty as sin (and not for the first time) and repercussions at best will be a slap on the wrist. I love college basketball, but it is like being a baseball fan at the height of rampant steroid nonsense.

Spoke to someone in the "know". FBI asked NCAA not to react (suspensions etc.) to anything that was exposed thusfar. There are two other lawsuit pending and everything will come out in the open.

There it is. Kansas announces Silvio De Sousa is being withheld from competition. I would be surprised if he ever suits up for Kansas again. This also raises real possibility last year’s Final Four appearance will someday be vacated. @TheAthleticCBB

Coach K on the three men being found guilty in the first college basketball corruption trial: “I would think it means something good for our sport. A jury found them guilty of breaking rules. They should be held accountable.”

What a f’n hypocrite
