You mean the next game againstPC? It might .1 win here can completely turn the season around

St. John’s has this sick twisted ability to take games where you know you’re probably going to lose, and somehow making it the most excruciating experience ever. they leave you feeling worse than you did pregame even though you already knew the loss was coming. It’s uncannyIt's funny how predictions work. I had us losing yesterday, and winning three in a row starting Tuesday. Yet, I feel a lot less confident about that now then when I posted that last week.
I'm enjoying this team a lot more than Anderson's last 3 teams(I really enjoyed his 1st team), but let's not set the bar at Anderson's last 3 teams.Of course Rick set the bar high. What coach wouldnt. He brought life back into a doormat program. We are playing competitive basketball. But as he said he recruited 5th year offensive minded players who do not know how to play defense. The thing with 5th year players is sometimes you cant teach an old dog new tricks. I still find this season enjoyable fun to watch outside of the Seton Hall game. Ill take that over any game i might of watched in the past anderson era games. Coach that coaches, players that care and play. Remember our starting lineup consists of Iona player, Harvard player. Granted I love Jenkins. Ledlum developed into a nice, not great but nice player. Zuby is going to be a power house next year. Brady we see getting more confident in his shots. Everyone expected us tourny and the moon this year. Just look at Cooley at Georgetown, I think Rick did a better job year 1.
We been saying that all year, if we get one win here and one win there, but it just doesn't happen.1 win here at Providence can completely turn the season around
He (Pitino) pulled a Ralph Houk. (See Houk’s assessment of the Yankees preseason 1966).Agree with all Paultz, but just remember that he created much of the crazy expectations with his preseason talk. Which has probably led to much of his frustration right now.
I know he wanted to get the fanbase amped up, and get the media buzz cranking, but in hindsight he should have toned it down just a little bit.
actually I haven't. Thought hopefully 4-4 January. Yeah every game felt like a huge game because of how bad Mich SH and BC were but this was always the pivotal game but you gotta win SH too and the 3 bad ones and hopefully a signature win like CreightonWe been saying that all year, if we get one win here and one win there, but it just doesn't happen.
GL with this game.
I'll give them this game , but confidence isn't good.
If you take away the exhition DePaul game (which everyone blowouts), they're 5-7.From 4-1 to …..6-7…..that’s painful. Let’s hope the bleeding stops on Tuesday.
By this logic, butler is 4-6 in big east play.If you take away the exhition DePaul game (which everyone blowouts), they're 5-7.
Lose Tuesday and that's 5-8, but according to some, we'll still have a chance to make the NCAA Tournament.
I'm expecting losses in every road game now except DePaul, until I see otherwise.
Please surprise me Tuesday night.
I never included Georgetown, atleast they'll play close games, and we gotta be up for them or we'll lose.By this logic, butler is 4-6 in big east play.
Seton hall is 5-5.
Providence is 4-7
Nova is 4-7
X is 5-6
So who outside the top 3 deserves to make the tournament in the Big East? Or is it just St. John’s that needs to apologize for beating DePaul and Georgetown?
He had Jerry Kenney and Horace Clark. How could he not be beaming with confidence? He (Pitino) pulled a Ralph Houk. (See Houk’s assessment of the Yankees preseason 1966).
and Bobby Murcer! He had Jerry Kenney and Horace Clark. How could he not be beaming with confidence?
Providence drunks are already in the arena basementBe interesting to see if this storm affects attendance at the game tomorrow night.
