Wow tough game to watch. Typical of the season. Thought it would be better playing at the garden
 
I hope we come back in the 2nd half but I'm going to find something ,ore entertaining to watch. That was an awful half.
 
Mussini has caught the Ahmed out of control sickness.. Lovett's game is really struggling. Actually missing too many foul shots and his outside jumper has cooled off.
 
The second half should be much better. Providence doesn't impress me. We will not shoot 20% from the field in the second half, again.

20% would be an improvement.
 
That was an absolutely brutal half of basketball. Operating the offense from 30 feet out with no plan to attack is not going to get it done.
 
Anyone see if they honored any senior players before the game.
 
Our Team wins if Ponds and Lovett score their average and Ahmed scores 15. Otherwise, relying on Ellison, Yakwe, Amar, Williams or Freudenberg is a disaster.. Harsh reality, which many refuse to recognize, is we are still several BE talent level players away from being a truly competitive team. Mussini runs hot and cold, mostly cold last 2 games.

Yakwe has terrible hands, no offensive game and is poor rebounder. Will he improve? Doubtful. Ellison and Ahmed have major deficiencies in their play, that may not improve ever. Is that on Mullin? I don't think so.

Good points but, who can score inside? Yakwe? he cant catch a pass or do anything inside. We dont have a 6'10 ' stud inside, like most BE teams. Amar, is not a post player or, perimeter player. Lavin recruit by the way. Teams over play Ponds and Lovett because they know we have zero inside game. Zero!
 
I'm watching K-State vs Texas Tech during our halftime. Missing out on Anthony Livingston was huge! He's big , strong , rebounds and he's already hit two 3's in first four minutes of the game. Having him instead of Yakwe, Williams or Alibegovic would have been a huge upgrade.
 
Livingston just hit another 3! That's 3 so far with 13;30 left in the first half
