Yes there is and it would be great if the Garden is loud and we can secure a win there the second Saturday in a row before a group of top notch recruits. The staff would also be able to point out the great improvement from 1-17 to 8-10. Keeping my fingers crossed and a little prayer. :)

Precious is coming to a lot of games. I see him as an important recruit.

High School Freshman and Sophomores. Nice to see young kids.

Providence opened as a 1-pt underdog for tomorrow's game vs St. John's at MSG #pcbb #sjubb… pcbb1917.com/2017/03/03/ope…

There are various ways to measure a team's improvement from one year to another and the fact that SJU is a slight favorite at MSG which is not considered a very strong home advantage over a team fighting for a bid is a good sign.

Beating them would be a better sign.

They already did. Sweeping them and making Cooley explode would be great.

Realize it's a lttle late to ask but I have 2 FREE tickets to tomorrow's game (Great seats) for anyone that would like them. Will leave them at Wiil Call.

Please PM me.

Anyone know if Owens has any shot at playing Saturday?

For me, having already won seven times as many conference games as last year, including a most-satisfying beating of Seton Hall, plus an OOC win at Syracuse, all I want at this point to feel the season has been successful is to break an embarrassing six-year streak of not winning a BE Tournament game ... and if that means having Owens sit out against Providence (in a virtually meaningless game) so he'll be 100% against Gtown, then so be it. I can't bear the thought of having to leave the Garden with another disappointing first-round loss.

Were not playing in any post season tourneys, so no sense is being overly cautious w Owens Let's try to beat Providence and than worry about GT. Play Owens if he is able.

Of course I'd relish beating Providence tomorrow, but if it were to come down to an "either/or" choice, I'd definitely opt for a long-overdue win in the BE Tournament.

You might be right that we aren't going to any post seson tourneys, but there is a better chance with him then without him. Plus, we're locked into the 8th seed, so what's to gain from playing him? Keeping momentum going?
OK, sounds good to me, but what if the kid get severely hurt, and misses the OOC part of next year?
Rest him 4 extra days.

If Providence takes a loss in this one, it will likely knock them out of tournament consideration, unless they make a deep run in the BET. That being said, I'm sure they'll come out ready to play, won't be easy.

Dont like our body language and energy level to start game
