Absolute nonsense. I have never had any part in getting someone banned.
As much as Realfan annoyed me I never went to moderators to get him banned and that crybaby actually tried to get me banned
That being said I could care less if you post here or not. The only thing that bothers me is when you post like Realfan and WRITE IN ALL CAPS
PS the only thing accurate in the "Good Old Boys Club" description is the old, though I'd translate that to mature. So many come on here with uninformed, immature, and often incoherent rantings and then start crying like a toddler when they're called out for their behavior and tone. The funny thing about Joe is that in his first two or three major blowups on this board I was agreeing with his point but trying to change the way he said it. He was called out for poor communication skills and an inability to behave in a civilized fashion. Every poster on this board has been accused of writing something stupid at one point or another, though some more than others and not always accurately. Every poster on this board has been wrong at one point or another, though some more than others. It's how posters react to being called out for their missteps that truly defines them. Can you laugh at yourself as well as others and let each fiery debate be water under the bridge once its run its course? Best advice to any poster old or new is don't take yourself too seriously because I can guarantee you very few others do.

Because he took shots shots at me all the time on Big East Boards and because I think he still is on this board under a different name and Miguel's post seemed earily reminscent of Realfan's although I'm not convinced he's Realfan yet.

On Johnnyjungle, there are posters calling Linda Mirabella Realfan as well. And while I know you yourself didn't think their writing styles matched, it seems as though whenever there is someone who is a bit oppositional to the the common thought, he is labeled "Realfan". Kind of reminds me of a witch hunt.
I generally don't get involved when posters get into conflict. I just don't think that if a poster is banned from a particular site that others should take shots at them when they are not able to respond. I wouldn't care who the poster was or what their track record was, i just don't think it's right.

Jim, I appreciate the snetiment and have refrained from taking shots at him, but you have to understand that while you posted 58 messages in your tenure at redmen.com, this guy posted 58 per day, often nonsensical and often offensive stuff. When called on it last year, he said, "I don't really care who I offend". Reactions by users hear have been very nonchalant to his banning compared to how much he annoyed people.
Again though, I appreciate the sentimebnt.
