Private Practice MSG

Feel free to break my heart.
I’m too nice to give that honest of an opinion 😀 I think he did have a decent amount of rebounds if you want a glass half full. lol

The Iwu guy had a good game but Zuby stood out to me more just he’s still gotta work on the hands.

Side note it’s real cool seeing Pitino stop plays to teach and then also talking to us. Someone like Panther notices so much more in a practice than me so it’s real interesting to me watching the teaching stuff or having Pitino tell us things he’s seeing that I don’t notice

Another side note. Brought 2 of my finance buddies and they cant wait to go to games this year now. So just this one event brought back an old johnnie fan who hadn’t gone to games in awhile and created a new fan

Events like this create momentum in building a fan base

I'm flying down for 2 games in February. They keep this up, I'll consider walking.

Gotta consider both sides of every option when looking at an inner squad scrimmage.

~ Vince scoring 16 on 7-9
+ great production on great efficiency.
- Could zuby struggle guarding the taller bigs we will face?

~ Aaron Scott going 1-8 from 3
- not great, obviously.
+ must be shooting it well in practice to have that type of green light. Was not a high volume shooter as North Texas.

~ White team shooting sub 40% as a
team.
- 38% team shooting is atrocious.
+ maybe Kadary, Luis, and Zuby as a defensive trio can have this type of effect.

So not Chet Holmgren?

What was the shooting first hand vs 2nd half. First half seemed a lot worse for both squads

I’m not sure. I thought you were the one who was there 😂

But since Vince didn’t start and he went 7-9 overall, while the rest were 14/45, it seems you could be right.

Enjoyed very much all the comments and reviews of what's to come. My big takeaway is that so many people are high on Sim, I think and hope the kid from New Jersey has a big breakout season!
I'm still pissed that Pitino played the seniors overs Sim, but that's just me.
He had better not mess with the Brooklyn freshman this season. He better not cost us a bid again this season.

I am confident Scott will be fine from 3. Most likely his first time shooting in MSG, and as you mentioned, not used to having a green light after playing with those slow paced North Texas teams. From what has been shared, Sim looks great so that gives Scott some more time to get used to the Pitino's pace
