I was pretty direct in assessing how bad this matchup is for us before the game in our house and as it turned, pretty accurate. Now, in their house, the odds are even worse. But if Naji Marshall doesn't play or is hobbled and rendered ineffective by his injury (apparently he's still in a boot today so how well healed can he be tomorrow?) that changes everything. Heron is an important piece needed for us to succeed, but by comparison, Marshall is the most important player on their team, the straw that stirs the drink, for some of you 70's/80's baseball fans. With Marshall out, we have a great shot to win this game, even in their house. The staff just needs to devise and ready the team to execute a game strategy built around his absence or inability to play effectively if either occur. Let's hope that's possible.
