Zach seems to think he’ll be back for the Big East Tournament so doesn’t seem major.

Yeah, and he's garbage. Guarantee, next year he'll probably get 10-15minutes off the bench.
Sense not here

Hope you're right.
Wishing that a kid leaves is lame. Until today, I never heard a bad word about Keita’s attitude. Quite the opposite. Have you?

These Big East officials are HORRIBLE. The league seriously has to do something about this problem this offseason. This SH-NOVA game has been a joke. A foul every second. That's not what the Big East has traditionally been about. Something's gotta change.

Would think, but high maintenance takes its toll over long run. Some guys are just not that good to require micro management of normal and fair responsibilities. We’ll see.

There will be no next year for Keita.

Even if we lose @ X, if Marquette and Creighton win, we'll be play at 9:30 as the #6 seed

If Marq and CU win, and we win. We're the 3 seed, and guess who's the 6th seed? X lol.

Losing today would be better then.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but if we lose and Marquette wins we are a 6 seed and if Georgetown wins we are a 7 seed. Either way it win or bust in this game. We have to get a win at some point.

Yep, that sums it up. Regardless, what happens in tonight's game between DePaul/Creighton.... If Marquette wins, then we're locked into the 6th seed (unless, we win later today, then we're a 3-seed). If Georgetown wins, then we'll need to win later today to avoid playing on Wednesday night (as a 7th seed).

Made the trip to Ciny for this game. Am so pumped to stick it to these thugs. Hope we give them the business! Let’s go Johnnies!

Only if G-Town lose or we better win

Yes. Well “thugs” maybe too harsh. But last time we played they were extremely chippy and chirping our guys all game.

We’re not too bad at chirping either at times. :)

I’ve noticed that, especially SP. Would be nice if he backed it up by showing up to play for the clutch games.
All the other fan bases in the big east think we are the thugs
On the court/style of play we are a low foul team with very little physicality and very rarely any unsporting conduct. The Obekpa thing was probably the worst I ever saw by a St. John's player in terms of overall bad play and not to mention just plain stupid. There was also a Reggie Jessie nut shot but these things pretty rare. In the old days G'town spent the entire game elbowing and punching opponents in the gut. Pitt had some seriously dirty teams in the 80s but Gtown got away with a lot more.
