If there’s a flickering light it’s that our biggest weakness shouldn’t be exposed against smaller front line. They might ball fake and jump stop us to death tho.
 
Tall order, but if we win this we'll be on the right side of the bubble. 
 
Our kids are going to be so hyped for this game I just hope they arent overhyped and it effects there play.

I think we have a better chance in second game against Nova.  But we are at home.............
 
This is a huge 4 game stretch.  St.John's will probably be the underdog in each of these next 4.  Go 2-2 here and I think they are looking pretty going down the home stretch where 4 of last 5 games will be at home.  
 
Nova is well oiled machine but I believe a bit soft.

we have to be aggressive and physical.  Don't let them wear us out with their backing into the basket and whipping around perimeter.  

May need Cole to have strong outside game if we have to match them from deep.

No room for hero Ball by Moore or Earlington.  Everyone must play to their strengths only if we have any shot.

I love our guys but have no expectation of beating Nova who are just too good. Our only chance is Posh & Dunn overpowering Nova backcourt with turnover bonanza, but don't see it happening. 
 
Hopefully the team gets home from Milwaukee in time for the game--don't know if they got out tonight but if they didn't, won't be able to fly back until Wednesday.

They're here already. Isiah Moore just went live 40 minutes ago and they were walking in the Snow on campus.

Let's hope Nova's bus gets stuck in a couple of snow banks and the players have to push it out and they show up 5 minutes before tip off  completely exhausted and we kick their butts. No aplogies offered. /media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png

There are some super intriguing matchups in this one. 

posh vs gillepsie will be very fun to watch. Great test for our freshman. Look forward to him bothering Arch Jr. 

Champ vs James Robinson Earl. Another great battle between two studs. 

problem is Nova also has Justin Moore who is really good. Make no mistake this Nova team could win the title this year. But my gut says this is a one possession game late. Hopefully we shock them 
 
Well one thing we can say is that we are the more experienced team with more challenges under our belt this season.  Nova has barely played, with only 6 big East games under their belt vs our 12.  We need to keep up our defensive pressure and intensity.  
 
House money game to me;  compete, concentrate defensively, be aggressive but smart and see what happens. Nova is a very good, well coached team, but give it a go. For first time in a while, Nova staff has a few things to worry about with this gritty team; Julian and Posh are special and rest of first eight bring some positives. Roll out the balls! This group is a work in progress, but not intimidated.
 
If St Johns wins this game, I believe they slide into an at large tourney bid.  As of last week, the big east has 5 temas in w/ providence a 1st 4 out.  The 6th team in the big east is right there.

With a win against nova, that 6th team will be in.  Is it Wed night yet?
 
I hope our defense being so relentless at the guard position does some damage and we keep the game from being a runaway.

I also hope Posh's dee will get under Gilepsie's skin and throw him off his game. Don't know if it will however, 
 
Closing out on 3 point shooters will be key. They are dangerous from long at so many spots. We may not be able to help a ton so man D gonna be important. Villanova is a very disciplined team, hard to seem them get flustered. If anyone can do it, think it's us. Look forward to it
