If we play our game and don't get screwed by refs we will have good chance to win. Think about that for a second. I know we won last year but that was a shocker. When is the last time we could say play our game and have good shot to win @ Nova.

After watching Villanova a few times I'm still not sure which team will show up tonight but I do like how we've played recently. If we continue staying active on D we could cause problems for this young team that isn't as big and physical as Georgetown. Would be fantastic to remain 'unbeaten' in three conference road games and start the grind 3-1. Is it time yet? Lets play already!

The key is keeping our top guys out of foul trouble. We can't have a repeat of the gtown game with Simon, Clark and Heron fouling out.

Honestly they only repeats from this year that I do not want to see are:
-Ponds passing for whole half.
-Not closing out on three point shooters.
-Referees giving other team a do over at end of game.

The key is not letting the big freshmen play once we get up 20...need those efficiency #s for the NET.

I see Nova's Collin Gillespie having a real hard time tonight NO match for our guards.

any of our guards especially Shamorie, one on one will steal the ball from him every time.

He is a 30 minute guy who shoots only 42% from two, and 34% from 3

He's no Arcideacano/DiVincenzo

Over/under on his turnovers: 4.5

Defend the three. That's the bottom line in my opinion. Do not let Villanova get hot from downtown. If we can do that, I think we win by double digits.

I hear you, Mattc, but I’ll take a 2-point win and dance the jig.

2-2 is settling, time to get greedy, which is what good teams do.
Keep playing up tempo, their guards can't handle ours, and guard the 3-ball.

Flip side is what Willard did to defend Shamorie in the second half. Double him and body him constantly and wear him out. Jay Wright did not win those two NC's by chance.

To me another key is to limit Nova's offensive rebounds. We allowed Georgetown too many second chances.

Villanova doesn't have height like Georgetown, they're more similar to us.

If we do not commit stupid fouls and do not allow dribble penetration we will not foul are hands and feet are quick use them.

Willard has the second best defender in the conference at worst. Nova doesn't.

Win this game and the Depaul game and move into the top 20, maybe even 15. Even though Nova is having a bad year, they are still well respected and this would be a big win

Just saw ESPN at the bottom 24SJU vs Villanova.. nice. Of course, then I see SJU is 6.5pt underdog. Ok. I don't agree but OK. Then it gives Villanova a 72% BPI chance to win. This is the stupidest most unnecessary obnoxious analytical nonsense I have ever seen. It means absolutely nothing.

The line perplexes me. I have seen Villanova multiple times this year, I don't see a 6.5 favorite. I will revisit the line at 6pm but really tempted to take the Money Line. Will probably settle for the +6.5.
