My two cents worth.
I have mixed feelings about playing this game and the more I think about it, the more I rather not.
A nine day lay off especially after the layoff around Christmas, adds rust and you would like to be able to build off your recent big win so I get that. However, the down time of a couple of days off and a light practice or two during that time could do wonders for Posh's bruised body, Champs bad finger (I haven't seen it posted but he kept looking at it and pulling on it in the second half. Could be the same one he jammed earlier) and Greg's back.
I do have one other concern. The league games is one thing as mentioned you have to play, but I do have concern about playing a non-league opponent and whether they are flying in or local doesn't matter. We have been lucky not to have had to shutdown and that risk is always there, even if you doing things right. I;d rather not tak the risk of playing a non-league foe and something potentially happening and we have to shutdown for two weeks. Cases in Utah have been like a rollercoaster lately and is trending down, but still.
Not getting on a soapbox and it is not my call but just my two cents worth on the matter.
Understand your concerns but you can gear time more toward your healthy players and give more time to guys like Cole, Moore, Wusu, Roberts, Earlington. Use banged up guys only if needed.
