Looks like the entire huntington train line to mineola is having work done somewhere making the train way too long of ride with switches. So now have to drive to garden city just to get that separate train line. mjmaherjr will be walking into MSG in a bad mood tomorrow hopefully they can shock me with a win

Thanks for the heads up, you can pick me up on the way to Mineola

Sonogo looked dominant v Marquette, should be a challenge obviously

We will either need a different Soriano than the guy who played against Nova or a breakout game from Nyiwe (possible, he's making progress) or Stanley.

Though if Posh is out I am not sure it matters, unless UConn's offensive struggles return and we can eke out a low-scoring defensive battle.

We’ll need to double-team Sonogo frequently. Anderson needs to go back to the drawing board and design a simple defense that can confuse their players, not ours. I don’t see Posh returning any time soon. Coach needs to alert the refs, pre-game, about 3-seconds violations and hand checking.

Knight, do you have inside info on Posh or just speculating?  Hopefully the latter.

No inside information. I suffered a similar looking injury in college when I came down on another players foot on a rebound attempt. I was sidelined for 3 weeks. I assume Posh has access to great treatment and rehab as he heals.

Could Fatigue be an issue for Uconn tomorrow??  two games played within 43 hours (7PM Friday to 2PM Sun).  Travel day on Thursday to Cin. and return on Sat.  Not much time to prep for us.  Meanwhile we have had time to prepare since Wednesday.

That makes me wonder from games we have played I haven’t seen us prepare for a BE team  with plays that were evident on game day ,. I have seen a lot of helter skelter running after 3 pts shooters that were wide open etc but no adjustments that give me confidence we can win

I'm gonna go out of Seaford. Could have stayed in the City tonight but I have dogs to take care of.

No mainline service from Hicksville th Jamaica on the LIRR this whole week due to signal work.

Take the Babylon, Hempstead or Port Washington Branches.  Not sure whether or not you can park at any of the stations in Garden City unless you are a resident even on weekends.  As an option I told my son to go to Manhasset as you don’t need a permit on the weekends to park that.

Nassau Blvd. station has ample parking and is on the Hempstead line. Or valet park at the Garden City Hotel.

I think weekends you can park in the GC lot or just park at the garden city hotel across the street

I'll be rooting like crazy for our guys today. Just seems like UCONN does everything a little better than us; hope I'm proven wrong.

Zach B

Top-rated sophomore Naasir Cunningham one of several recruits visiting for St. John's-UConn game. UConn after this kid, so that may be why he’s here today

Sanogo as LMF noted presents biggest challenge today. Xavier with their two bigs on court at same time got him in foul trouble early and was huge. Not sure we have that combo to accomplish that, but let’s drive the ball inside and find out. Julian today may be better served doing that v falling into Hurley’s trap & hurling threes. Hold your own too Joel Soriano & don’t reach in on Sonogo.

Should be a rock fight game in 60s I think. Let’s get one!

Play defense with your feet not hands.
