Him and Steere have been practicing. Steere since last year.

Of course, game action is a little different than practice. Interested to see how coach MA slots Dunn in. Steere out until the Albany game only gets one game before the tougher opponent (Arizona). I suggest bigger guys like Steere my take a little longer to get up to game “speed”.

Can anyone site when an ineligible player is not allowed to practice and the type circumstances where that would be true? What about when a player is suspended by the NCAA? Team obviously can always decide not to let a player practice for disciplinary reasons.
Ugh it's on FS2...seriously what is up with that channel? Why is it so much worse than FS1? FS1 is great...just not sure why the big difference.
I have been having the same problem with Optimum/Altice. FS2 quality has been horrid. I tried the Fox Sports app on my smart TV and watched the game there with great quality and no issues, just a slight delay.

Yeah, I'd 100% get FiOs if I was able to but it's not offered by me. Optimum is a defacto monopoly. Ridiculous...I even paid for stronger internet and there's really no difference. When I was in college we had FiOs and it never dropped anything. I have a smart TV that I need to reset every few days because the signal keeps dropping. You'd think it was 1997. The delay is really annoying too, because if you're following the game thread on here, I'll watch a player take a shot and see someone post YESS! or DAMN! So I know what happens while the ball is in the air. Not sure why in 2019 almost 2020 it's impossible to get a very strong signal without network drops in clear HD and no delay without cable.

No difference with FIOS in my area.
I recently switched to Fios from Spectrum. FS2 was crap on Spectrum but the quality of the two channels is the same on Fios for me too.

Fwiw, if you watch on fox sports go, I have found the quality is surprisingly better when I stream it. I have a Roku so you can get the Fox Sports app on there and watch on tv.

Mike Anderson wouldn’t say if Rasheem Dunn will start, but he will play significant minutes. #sjubb

Mike Anderson in Greg Williams: “he’s getting his feet underneath him.” Missed all fall with back issue. #sjubb

Mike Anderson believes biggest impact Rasheem Dunn will make is as a playmaker. Takes pressure off Figueroa and Heron. #sjubb

SJ press release

QUEENS, N.Y. (Nov. 15, 2019) – The St. John’s men’s basketball team will continue its season-opening homestand on Saturday afternoon when it welcomes Vermont to Carnesecca Arena for a 4 p.m. tip.

The game will air live nationally on FS2 with Pat O’Keefe and Jim Spanarkel on the call. Fans can also hear the game on the Red Storm Sports Network from Learfield IMG College featuring the call of John Minko and Brandon Tierney on 570 AM WMCA. The radio broadcast will also be available on the TuneIn app and Sirius XM.

Vermont, the reigning America East Champions who return seven of their top eight scorers from a team that won 27 games a year ago, will provide the Red Storm with its toughest test to date of the Mike Anderson Era. The Catamounts come to Carnesecca Arena with a record of 3-0, having received a vote in this past Monday’s Associated Press Top 25 poll after defeating St. Bonaventure and Bucknell on the road. Vermont also picked up a 62-47 win over Boston University in the team’s home opener on Wednesday. Sporting a KenPom ranking of 79 through games played on Thursday, Vermont will be the first non-conference opponent slated inside the top 80 to play in Carnesecca Arena since no. 75 Bucknell on Nov. 19, 2013.

My cousin is an engineer who sits on the broadband committee for Columbia County in upstate New York. He has been told that Verizon will do as little as possible to upgrade copper based systems and FIOS is not practical given low population density. Verizon technicians have been advised that microwave exposure badges are in their future as there is a push to make whole system wireless. Looks like Altice/Optimum will have a monopoly for the foreseeable future.

Agreed. Originally IIRC, it was not in HD but it is now. No complaints about the quality for me lately

Exactly. The difference isn't the channel. If you are seeing a difference the provider is the reason.
Yes, originally FIOS didn't carry FS-2 in HD. Now they do. It's possible some systems still don't which would make a world of difference.
