Who starts Saturday nick or rasheem??

I dont think rasheem starts right away, cma will probably give nick till the under 12minute to, and see what nick has, or rasheem could play with nick.
I'd go with a starting lineup of

When at full strenght a lineup of rasheem, heron, lj champagnie, and steer, will be real fun to watch. I'd go with the freshman over roberts.
ROBERTS with his energy could be the 6th man spark plug.

I think Earlington is the spark plug.

My guess is we are a one to two point favorite based on the Pomeroy ratings.

Waiting for the day when a game against Vermont (no matter how well they're supposed to do in their conf) is just a game against Vermont.

Imo Roberts is no 6th man at this point. He’s been an animal and almost seems as if he’s barely trying. He will potentially be a starting PF for us for next few years. Give him time. I was wrong about a lot of these guys based on our prior staff not actually coaching them. Things have changed..

Oh roberts will be the starting pf ehhhh?
Oh I believe champagnie will have something to say about that.
Competition is good.

Gotta love how the Vermont pre-game thread consists primarily of:

1. Complaints about season ticket prices
2. Elton John ticket resale prices.

I'm pretty sure we have/had a thread for the former. I guess we could start one for the latter.

Anyway, I think Vermont is going to be a good early barometer for our group. I haven't seen a line yet but it should probably be a pick 'em or a couple of points one way or the other. Hope our " fans" manage to buy a ticket (either at the box office, resale, or otherwise) to show up and support the team.
I'm thinking a line will be higher than that. I'm going to say a touchdown.
Speaking of that, I was pretty shocked when I saw that ESPN likes us to lose this game outright.

They give them a 51% chance to win. What goes into deciding that? Surely it can’t be Vegas cause I don’t think there’s anyway we are dogs at home
Nerds

I really like Julian’s game. But he’s not starting over Josh.
Look at last night. Julian wasn’t getting a lot of minutes early. But then he was back in providing a second half spark. He’s still a baby. Plus I think he’s more a 3 than 4. But semantics.

Julian is still a baby? Isn't Josh in his sophomore year, that's one year difference.
How old are they? Did Josh redshirt and is actually in his third year? I know josh didn't play much last year, so he doesn't have a ton of experience.

Josh.is 6'9 205. Julian 6'8 215

Not much of a difference

Roberts is the third best player on our team (not counting two guys who haven't played for us yet) and a huge intimidator on defense. No way he doesn't start for us.

If you don’t think there is a difference between a freshman and sophomore I don’t know what else to tell you.

Both impressive players this year. Personally I leave lineup as is. Maybe Dunn for Nick. But I’m fine having offense off bench. CMA has showed minutes are going to be spread around.

Ok. As i said last night the 2 looked like a draw, only liked julian more because of what he did in the 2nd half, meanwhile josh was shutout in the second half. If he even got 3pnts, i would have giving josh the 3rd best player award.
In.the 3 games
Nick won it the first game.
Champ won it the last two games.
I know, i know. But he's just a baby :)

Well lets see what he has vs. Real comp in Vermont.

Are you including last years practice too? I know he didn't play in games alot.
Ok moose I'll give it to you. Roberts is the winner, he has a lot more experience sitting on the bench last year. My bad.

I hope that's a good thing.

Just saying, i don't understand how you can say that josh is better to start over julian when I'd say julian looks alittle better (to me anyway). I could see if josh played alot last year, but that's not the case. Only thing that i can say that Josh is clearly better at is blocking shots.
What else is he clearly better at?
