Chris Mullin has a 8-1 career record against the ACC.

(4-1) as player and (4-0) as head coach.

Agree with Fordham, just play loose and roll dice. They’ll likely lose, but hopefully play well & carry that over to a more important BE game v Marquette.

Go for the jugular.

If they can avoId foul trouble, they can win. I'd deliver a nice tomahawk chop to Tre Jones' right shoulder early.

Hopefully Zion wants to play on the perimeter.

To Marillac’s “delight” :)

Justin Simon (migraine) said he'll be fine for Saturday

It was either a migraine or that 3 pointer he took that missed the rim by 4 feet. he was pulled right after that and did not come back in.

Kenpom gives our beloved StJohns has a 4%chance of winning the game and predicts the following final score:

St.John's 71
Duke 90

No sense having him less than his usual self . Which has been much less than usual lately .. Was it just me or anyone else too, once Simon was pulled , I never wondered if he was coming back in .. Trimble has that good a game .

Not surprising, but wonder what % they gave us last year...

Heading down to Durham (from DC) tomorrow. Bought our tickets months ago. Attaching a screen shot of us at the game in Cameron in 2011. Unfortunately, my wife is a “Cameron Crazy,” but fortunately she’s still relatively supportive of my Johnnies. I will be proudly wearing my red colors in a sea of blue.

Worked out well for the team and hopefully for Justin too. Gave him a chance to watch the team operating very efficiently with crisp ball movement and Trimble a chance to get minutes and confidence. Simon's a valuable player for us, just need him to avoid taking too many shots. We'll need both Justin and Trimble going forward. We are getting closer to that solid 8 man rotation we all hoped for earlier in the year.

Nothing to lose in this game, but a LOT could be gained by winning. Hope the kids go out and play like we are capable. Push Duke out to the perimeter. Don’t let them score inside. Make them shoot themselves out of the game. A win could really boost our resume’ and make it more likely to be tourney bound for sure. Time for our guys to give their best.

Not sure why, but strongly sense the series with Duke willl not be renewed.

We are one of the few teams that could have an advantage against them on transition defense. The question is however, Who is going to take a charge from ZW and is it even worth it?

We have actually done alright against them.
Jarvis got them twice and one loss was the OT Bootsy game.
Lavin won once and Mullin last year.
I think we are still last non ACC team to beat them at Cameron

Figure going into game Clark, LJ and Heron already have 2 fouls on them and I think Keita just fouled out. NCAA refs @ Duke always remind me of Earl Hebner old WWF ref.

Better replace them then with another very high quality opponent
