It is a bad time for a game even for those of us watching from afar. My wife, son and one of my daughters who is usually here from NJ normally go out for a fixed price three course dinner on New Year's around 7 pm and get home after 9. I had to use a little creativity this year and make a reservation at a different place that happens to be my wife's favorite restaurant for 5:30. Luckily she loves to eat early and has no idea I have an ulterior motive for my early dinner machinations....It's 5 minutes away and with any luck we'll be home for the tipoff!
You sly dog you.

This is perfect for me as my partying days are over so hitting up the game tonight is awesome!

I just can’t win this fight tonight. The look I got from my wife said it all. Between baseball season, football and now the playoffs and basketball season you just have to know when to hold em and know when to fold em as the song goes. I hope to see the game tonight if I get to the in laws on schedule. If not the dvr is set. Timing of this game blows.

That's why you should get the tv on your iphone, in times like this.
Say your stomach isn't good and go to the toilet every 20minutes, though the wife will know you're bs'ing and will kick your ass when getting home.
But give it a few days and she'll forget all about it.

I hear ya Just a terrible game time. Would not get back to area till 10:15

Hoping to watch first half before going out in Bethpage

Hoping for a big win tonight then the next two msg games I am going will have good crowds

Advantage of being an older poster - my GF and I just fine watching the Crown or a Netflix movie, at home, glass of wine, simple, enjoyable.
All the best!

Can’t wait for this game Let’s end 2019 on a high note!!! I really think our style will tire them out since they lack depth , any word on Heron? Having him would help but don’t want to rush him back either and lose him for longer.

We need a big game from the duke tonight. He got into foul trouble last time out. Needs ro acoid thise ticky tack fouls and stay on the floor. Hes the best garbage man in the business. We need his rebounding and putbacks.

Don't know how big the crowd will be tonight, but they were out of food at 1870 court, by the time I arrived, which was around 6:35 pm. That's a good sign, I guess.
Obviously tough to go into a BE tilt without one of your best.
It's a chance for someone else to shine.
