I’ll say it again. Great freaking win. Any win against these bastards who always seem to beat us is a good one.

And, assuming that the UCONN game does not get made up, this win clinched a .500 or better overall record for Coach, for the 19th straight year.

What a game from Posh, Champy, Moore and of course, the Duke of Earlington.

This is so much fun guys.  This team is so exciting to watch.

Great win!

With that said, they really gotta work on closing games.  That could have gotten really ugly.  I'm not sure why CMA has a freshman that comes off the bench as his inbounder to close games.  This is 2 games in the row where Wusu made critical mistakes inbounding the ball.  Also, why in the world do we have an 88% free throw shooter and no running plays at the end to get him the ball when we know the other team is going to foul?  Champ and Cole should be the goto guys in this situation, I'm not sure why a high 60's, low 70's guy in Dunn is the guy that's always getting it in this situation, he goes 1 of 2 in those situation more often than not.

So quad 2 win for us would have been quad 1 win for Xavier. Never knew our cardboard fans gave us such a home court advantage.

Beautiful win, as mentioned by others. Loved the balanced scoring and emphasis on rebounding.

Not to throw cold water on a great evening, but I need to comment on one thing. I'm not a mod, and if a mod feels this is inappropriate, I understand. However, to refer to our players (or any players or human beings) as "retards", or "dumb" or "stupid" crosses a line.

I'm a proud alum. Graduated in January of 1985...,the night they received a number one ranking in the polls. I love this program...and have suffered like everyone else. However, there is an an amount of decorum that should be exhibited. If you are that wound up by a college basketball game...might I suggest that you examine your priorities?

They glory days are returning. How about enjoying the ride.

Posh Alexander 15 points, nine assists, eight rebounds, three steals, zero turnovers and terrific defense on Paul Scruggs. Freshman of the Year award is basically his. #sjubb

Great win. And for all those who questioned whether CMA could recruit well enough to win in NYC, is there anyone we were after (Curbelo, Diarra, Hoagland) you'd rather have as our point guard for the next 3-4 years than Posh? Easy answer as he is very clearly freshman of the year in the BE.
And Moore will be a monster for us next year. Onwards and upwards. We can definitely be that 5th team in from the BE if we take care of business; talk about a program headed in the right direction!

Great win. Earlington got his shooting touch back. Posh was on another level today. He is so dialed in. Great that he wasn't in foul trouble. I thought they would try Scruggs on more post back downs. Posh is just fearless in the paint. Champ was rock solid. He needs to be a part of more critical late game inbounds situations. Good shooting game by Dunn. We live and die with him. Moore has really found his niche. Greg needs more minutes. He had a couple lapses on d. Off game by Cole. Wusu was good but a lil sloppy at the end but that seemed uncharacteristic of him. Was good to see no drop off with the 2nd unit. Glad we have the depth we do.

I think we have to come to grips with the fact that this is always going to be Anderson's biggest weakness as a coach.

Ideally, I'd still like to see him bring someone on staff, who's specialty is late game offense, to help him out with this, but he strikes me as having too much integrity to overturn anyone on his staff.  Even if the higher ups force the issue, I think he would walk.

Unfortunatly, that's going to limit our ceiling under him, but I think the floor was last year, and that's not too bad.

Can u imagine what this kid is going to look like as a senior???  My goodness.  This is going to be some ride!

People are correctly giving Posh the ROY buzz but what's stopping him from getting the DPOY award as well?? Who deserves it over him? He's a one man press

Gutsy win now in 5th place.
