Yes a good win not not hitting our last 23 shots is bad we were fortunate to get the win but we are not going to win a close game if we do not do better in the
Last 10 mins of a game. Lot of work to do

Great win! This is a very enjoyable team to watch. It is not our most talented team in the last 5 years, but they play as a team. Every player seemed to go all out whenever he was in the game. We turned over a good team 22 times. We made our free throws. We won without having a great day shooting from the field. I could not ask for any more. It is going to be fun to watch CMA build this program over the next few years. What a contrast to the prior four years.

Great win for the Johnnies. Love the play of Earlington off the bench in the 1st half. Wish he had played more in the 2nd half.

Loved the play of Williams in the 2nd half. Johnnies were up 68 - 59 when he was taken out

This team could be so much better with consistent point guard play.

Big differential in FTs attempted and made, 15 steals, forced TOs, gritty bench & Dunn a warrior big parts of story. CMA stretching resources was also key.

Huge win today, it's a momentum builder.

Win the next two, get steere back for Albany.
We'll have our full roster available for Arizona.
Baylor beat AZ today

We turned wvu over 22 times
I believe 15 were steals! Amazing
Yes, Nick with 5, Julian with 3

Best full game under cma and didn't crumble in the 2nd half like vs. AZ St., IMPROVEMENT.

Now work on things vs. Brown and Albany, cause we'll have to improve to beat Arizona.
Still gotta work on finishing games.
Anyone know the attendance? Or if any recruits were at the game?
Attendance was posted @ 7,281

We may not be a great shooting team, but we won't have many games where we shoot 33% overall and 12% from three again. The fact that we won despite that and battled a very big WV game to a standstill on the boards say volumes about the toughness of our team. Is there anyone on the board who wouldn't have been happy to be 8-2 at this point before season started? Just a great team to watch. I'll say it while he is down, I'm a Heron fan and continue to believe he will come around and have a good season overall which can only help (along with addition of Steere).

The team was a bit tired late in the second half, accounting for the WVa comeback.
Glad the substitutions were more thoughtful this game, rather than the line shifts that were common earlier in the season.
I was happy to see the way Williams played. I thought he looked much more comfortable on the court.

He was a boost for us. Was fresh and made some
Shots. Handled well too.lets get some rest and get ready for next one vs Brown. Then handle Albany and get Steere back. I don’t think we will be a patsy at that point for Arizona either.
This win is also a direct result of CMA playing his bench early and often this season. Good job by coach.
Exactly. That was Mullins mistake. Get the bench ready for meaningfully games. Injury, slumps , fatigue and fouls are part of the game. Nice beach production from Dunn ,Earlington and Williams. Figgy played great, but I was dissapointed w Heron. Nevertheless a very nice W and we can look forward to Steere playing soon, which will take a lot of pressure off Roberts. Don’t like milking the clock that early, forces bad shots and lets opposing team back into the game. I think heart and defense won the game. Rutherford had a nice game w 11 points ,4 assists,4 rebounds, and 5 steals.

Speed kills. What we saw today is exactly what to expect in the BE. We're quick and going to turn teams over and we're going to get beat up inside.

It was a fun game to be at, especially being near some wvu fans, who thought that last foul was bogus. As good as our backcourt was, I don't think we can expect to turn over BE teams like we did today.

Can't help but think back to a week or two after Mullin stepped down and we knew Simon was leaving and Trimble, Keita and LJ were all in the portal. If anyone had told me we'd be 8-2 with a win over West Virginia, no bad losses and a team showing this type of effort and growth I'd have been amazed. He hasn't accomplished nearly enough yet for this hire to be deemed a complete success but Mike Anderson thus far has exceeded my expectations. Very, very good coaching job imo

What a game ! Rutherford played excellent ! Dunn balls of steel ! We almost choked it at the end but the end result is the end result and we beat an a very good team. This team is winning some big east games. Might not be pretty but our guys are gonna fight. That’s all I want

As brought up by a few, it looks like William's after recovering from his back injury, has got his sea legs back. After missing most of "training camp" , he is starting to show what we believe he always had in him. This team always supports each other, the "stars" dont sulk on bench they become big cheerleaders. Fun team, really like Coach A and this staff
