Anything that cuts Wasu min to under 12. Why mike lets him handle the ball got me. He drives and if he makes it to the hoop he get stuffed. He cant jump at all. Kids a good on the ball defender but wont stop kicken over the milk.

Agree Tony. If teams did that the Mets would be in triple A, the Knicks would be in the G league and the Jets would be playing in the Canadian football league.

For me, Eric’s comments here distinquish the top from the mediocre teams…He wrote:
“ Nova drives and kicks the ball out for open shots but they also post to draw doubles and kick it out for open shots.  They know how to execute screens and pump fakes to get open.  Ball movement is never an issue for them.  They consistently box out and play hard.  They are a very disciplined basketball team.  They have a plan on OFFENSE and defense.  We are inconsistent on defense/rebounding and our offense feels like Anderson needs an offensive coordinator.  We need scorers.  Guys that can score in multiple ways. There are many ways to score, midrange, long range, post, penetrate and finish.  Name one guy on this team that can score in more than one of those ways.  It’s not that hard to defend us especially when we don’t even run good screens to get guys open.  Coach Wright has his kids disciplined and ready to play basketball on both sides of the court.”

Ever hear a former Wildcat talk about practice under Wright? virtually everyone comments on his annoying drilling about how to use a pump fake (virtually always) and how (often) to pass the ball with purpose for open shots.

It's weird that anyone thinks we'd be more successful in a mid-major. We wouldn't be getting the same kids we do now, so the recruiting complaints would just continue. I'd be at the Stanford site posting about a team that wants to win and an administration that isn't filled with quitters.
