For a team that was supposed to be know for their defense, I think the left it in Queens.
 
I would bring Pitino in here tomorrow, the father or the son would be an upgrade! 
 
It’s amazing to me how bad Champ got eaten up by Braun tonight! Time after time, bang! Bang! Bang! No way he can guard anyone at the NBA level. He might be back next year. 
 
Anderson brought in this bunch.

Next year won't look much different....probably worse.

I said my part in the game thread but to reiterate: you don’t mess with the rotation when you’re playing well and you definitely don’t sit your best player when he’s absolutely scorching. That is on the coach.

I know these newer guys aren’t stepping up as of yet, but the coach has to answer to what he was thinking there. For MY first time, I’m seriously questioning Anderson. 
 
Maybe Repole was onto something when describing our coaching search.
 
turnovers a big problem for this team and were out rebounded. Even when we got as close as three were being out rebounded on the glass.  
 
I think…. now hear me out….. I think that…..maybe, just maybe….. we miss some of the guys who transferred out.

I would no longer root for St. John's if they brought in a sleazebag like Pitino, which they won't. Maybe we've forgotten CMA  was coach of the year in our conference. Really kind of silly to talk about firing him when he hasn't lost a game we were favored in this year. If he doesn't make the dance, time to put him on the hot seat, just a tad premature right now imho.

Not premature to question the talent upgrade from last year though...

He lost at home by ~ 20...when we blew a run that got us within 3.

I don’t think we miss them talent wise. We miss them continuity wise because they know the system and the team would be playing better early. I have no doubt that after we start 1-5 I’m the Big East that these new guys will will get comfortable and get going and we’ll rip off like 5 or 6 wins in a row but still will need two wins at least in the Big East Tournament to maybe make the Dance and we’ll win one one game and wind up in the NIT. Same shit different season!
