From what I have seen we will be lucky to win 5 BE games hope I am wrong unless you don’t believe your lying eyes
Hoping next season is our big move but how can we be positive seeing what we have so far

Yeah that is the only fair way to look at it.
Think about it LJ your leading scorer and rebounder transfers. You don't replace him with any significant recruit. Put it to you another way if LJ doesn't transfer who on this team isn't here? It's the same roster +LJ. Now ask yourself this, with the same roster +LJ does he start on this team? Yes. Is he probably their best player? Yes. It is not like someone can argue yeah Fordham they lost LJ but if he doesn't transfer they don't open a spot for player X who is a stud 5 star recruit who is killing it here. Champagnie would be here either way, Posh etc.
So a team that went 4-14 loses their best player without a signficant replacement is going to drastically improve after the conference added a really good UCONN team?
Add in the fact they struggled mightily against two MAAC teams at home and their best win is a 3 pt win over a BC team that is 1-5 and got absolutely SMOKED by a very ordinary Syracuse team last night, 101-63. A game in which they trailed by FORTY FOUR points at one point, 90-46.
Let’s fact check a bit. We were 5-13 last year and LJ shot 38% from the field and averaged 14 ppg. Champagnie is our best player this year whether LJ stayed or not. Cole is averaging (and admittedly it’s early) a point less per game while shooting 10% higher. He doesn’t play LJ’s defense, but we’re not giving up anything on the offensive side of the ball so far. Posh is a big upgrade over Rutherford, and Wusu and Moore are better than what we had here last year. And everyone else is a year older. This team has many flaws right now, but they will get significantly better. You want to write them off after one BE game, have at it.

Thats ridiculous you are comparing apples and oranges and also best pkayer or not LJ would've been leading scorer or 2nd leading scorer and a main starter on this team regardless without any replacement.
I have 2 yrs worth of dats you have 6 ganes worth of data in which they played 1 conference game.
Whether you think Champagnie replaces LJ as vest player or not dies not answer argument. You are making up nonsense based on a few games against bad teams.

The nonsense is all yours pal. I didn’t say this year’s team wouldn’t be better off with LJ on it. You introduced that into the exchange and tried to make it my argument. I wish LJ stayed and made us even better. I was comparing this year’s team to last year’s. And this year’s team will be better imo, and has more talent.
You're argument about LJ only stands if you can argue in the absence of LJ player X would have replaced his numbers last year and they would have been better than 5-13. You have no argument. The team was bad last year and he was EASILY their best player who granted was simply not good enough to carry a bad team which is all you proved. That does not mean he wouldn't be a significant player on this year's team he would be whether best or not we can argue but he would be a significant player this if he stayed.
Bottom line is you are arguing SJU is a better team this year with zero evidence that anyone can replace their leading scorer and rebounder and 2 yr starter. Champagnie would be here starting with LJ anyway so he does not replace him.
Btw you know who agrees with me almost everyone which is why they were chosen 9th.
Dude, the only thing everyone agrees with is your need to be right. Your argument is ridiculous. Moving on...
Dude the only argument is you have is to say I have no argument so I am moving on. You still didn't answer my question. "My only point is to be right..." as opposed to your point which is to make a ridiculous prediction that no objective person agrees with and say this...OK moving on as well.

Thank you for speaking for all objective people everywhere. Let’s go over this again. This team is better than last year’s team. It has more talent, it’s gaining experience and I believe will win several more league games than last year. The silly positioning of an argument that you put forth doesn’t prove your point. It proves your ignorance.
To Fordhams credit, he was spot on about Providence last year entering BE play. And how they showed no indication of being competitive and anyone who believed otherwise was an idiot. I think Goody might have even retweeted it. Nobody speaks in absolutes notes. Absolutely no one.
LJ could be our best player this year (I think he would be) and we could be a much better team with him this year. And still we could be better now than the team we were last year. You do understand that that is possible right? That someone else could be right?
