Glad the Crime Dog got some burn.  Man is he quick.

I have been beating the drum for McGriff since they signed him.  I don't know why Coach has not been able to find minutes for the kid.  He's fast as hell, has a tremendous handle, great court vision, and plays tough D for his size.  I haven't seen any evidence that he can shoot or score, but he's the kind of player who makes everyone around him better.  You better have your head up and be ready when he's on the floor, because he will find you with the pass.
Good assessment...cringe when he shoots but amazed at the tight spaces he seems to be able navigate off the dribble

I had mentioned this in an earlier post . Earlington is a few pounds lighter than Watson and about 3 inches shorter . His center of gravity is lower than Watson and allows him to use it against the taller player . He isnt overpowered by bigger men . He did a great job on Watson !!!!!

Because he's the third PG on a team where the second (Posh) and third (Dunn) best players on the team are PGs.

Crime Dogs sgooting % might nor be good but I actually dont cringe at his shot, It doesnt look bad

He could have a textbook shot but when you only hit 20% it should make you cringe.  His job, while Posh is out, is to spell Dunn?Williams and play tough D and try not to do too much with the ball.  Hold the fort until the regulars can get back.

Not trying to pile on but can’t remember the last one that had a shot to go in

Give him credit for sticking with the team. But just seem s to small. If he was a great shooter  coach would have to play him more. Think he would be better off transferring to a Div 2-3 school where he could really show his talents and play 40 min

Problem is Cole not hitting a high % of his shots it appears but not knowing his stats could be wrong

Cole (per ESPN)
FGs: 40.1%
3-Pts: 35.5%

Thanks for the stats not has bad as I thought ,it must be whenever I was watching he was missing open shots lol

I don't know if some here look at other school 's fan forums ?  If so , seems many Friars want Cooley's head for this season .. it's a tough job being a College BB Coach . Unless you win every year you are at Risk .  Cooley , I think has done well with PC . I mean his teams have made the NCAA more than a few times and until this year , they usually finished in the top 1/2 of the BE .  He's a great spokesperson for the school on their 1/2 time commercials . The Divine Providence line is very effective .  Yeah , he can be snarky at Times , like he was with Mullin but , usually a good guy .

Providence seemed to play below their talent, so that is part of fans frustration, plus the cost of tickets is comparitively high and the coach, I believe, is making around three million per. Dave Gavitt probably didn't make over $100,000. Fans expect more and are less patient.

Providence and Seton Hall fans are worried about their rosters once these upperclassmen turn over.
