(POST GAME) Providence, Wed., Mar. 3, 7p, CBSSN / 570 AM WMCA

Great , gritty and gutsy comeback win. Dunn and Williams really stepped up in Posh's absence. Even Wusu stepped up and made some nice plays down the stretch. Maybe we're getting our mojo back. Hopefully, we get Posh back next game against Seton Hall

Glad the Crime Dog got some burn.  Man is he quick.

Not sure if it was Champ...but good job on Watson down stretch,,,denied ball well

Wally Szczerbiak on post game show was very laudatory about CMA's coaching and leadership, noting the results and toughness of team this year will really help recruiting & get SJU on successful plane.

Wally Szerbiak has always been a big fan of SJ. . .picked us to win pre game and then as part of post game quotes said that CMA plays a style that will attract good young players

An absolute outstanding win. The best last 6 or so minutes the guys have played all season. They looked so listless in the first half. First time they played without Posh, down 11, no answer for Watson, and coming off their 2 worst performances of the year. No one would have been surprised if they lost by double digits. Instead, they found that reserve that comes from pride, made some shots, and rebounded on the defensive glass like someone stole their lunch money. This win was for the guys on the court. I am very proud of this team, and happy for Dunn. This was a loss without him.

He loved St John's and wanted to come here.  He didn't think he'd get enough minutes with Felipe Lopez in his way, so he went to Miami Ohio.

Also heard he didn't like the way Lou used Sergio Lyck (who could blame him). Lou used to have Sergio post up because he was 6'8 but he usually got stuffed by the defenders arm pit.  85 could probably shed some light.

Our first home-and-home sweep of the Friars since 2015, but they went on to beat us that year in the BET.  Before that, you have to go back to 1999.

Nice to be back with a W.  9 BE conference wins, most since Lav's last year, and possibly at least one more.  If Hall has any prayer at making the dance, absent winning the conference tourney, they need a W, so should be a tough game.  Either way great effort by our kids and staff tonight, without a key cog in Alexander, and always great to be Easy Ed in the building he loves playing in so much.

Moore is underrated. He's a 6'10 kid who is a mismatch for most players when he's on offense.  He's a gazelle SF/PF in the shape of a center.  He's gotten better all season and smarter too.  Great hands and finishes well.  Excellent vertical on the offensive glass.  IMO he's easily our best frontcourt player besides Julian.

What an unbelievable 2nd half. The way I felt at the end of the first 20 you could have never imagined in a million years that they would have won the game so handidly. Credit to Dunn to FINALLY playing to his strengths, I truly don't understand what the disconnect is with him that he doesn't drive all the time. He hits this occasional long 2 but he's at his best using his speed. He powered us to the win. Glad to see Greg have his back injury under control it seemed like he got comfortable in the 2nd. The dunk and 3 in the span of like 30 seconds in the 2nd half was a big time dagger. Julian kept on chugging along. Moore has been super impressive since the suspension. Great win, very shocked but thrilled we got the W. Lets finish the season strong with a dub against Hall
