Ugly BE game.   Can't win much shooting less than 30%  SH only slightly better was enough. Oh well.  Get em on Monday 
 
Although I sometimes question the coach's substitution patterns and the five players he has on the court at a given time, the poor play is mostly on the players. How can any team win when they 
             1. Can't Shoot
             2. Can't Pass
             3. Can't Catch Passes
             4. Can't Rebound
             5. Can't Shoot Free Throws
             6. Can't make Layups
             7. Don't Hustle for 50/50 balls
             8. Have an overrated star player
             9. Has the Basketball IQ of 10 year old CYO players

Other than that they are a great team. But please don't blame the coach for the limitations of the players.
 
SJU still had 2 timeouts remaining with 20 seconds in the game.  CMA had one left when the game ended. 
 
Monster games by SH bigs.  Soriano and Wheeler played well top, so I'm encouraged by that.

This team is 100% Anderson players. He's the one recruiting the low IQ players that can't shoot, pass, or rebound
 
Coach refuses to put shooters on the court.  He just wants to win games via defense.  That doesnt work anymore.

the fact that he didnt give Coburn real minutes in the second half should get him fired before he leaves MSG today.

This is why there is practice and game film.

Cosches job is to get them better and not put them in same position over and over.
 
School has to be seriously thinking about a coaching change.If not we are doomed
we have to stop looking at champ as a next level play who would have carried this team
pernaps if not a change we should look at aDiv 2 confr
i would make a change then put an offer to Pitino,he probably would not take this job
then start looking foe a coach with are ord of bringing in a coach that can get us high ranked players
Otherwise be satisfied the way things are and just enjoy the game for the love of basketball

Coburn has his limitations as well but agreed he provides something that Wusu and Mathis don't. Wonder if Coburn is considering stepping away from the team with his academics consuming so much time and energy. What's the point of adding all of the demands of being on the basketball team on top of the pre-med work to get 4 minutes per game on the 10th place team in the Big East
 
I didn’t watch the game.  I decided I would rather just enjoy the day rather then be frustrated watching.  After reading the comments it looks like I made a wise choice.  This is the first time I can remember where I gave no interest in watching SJ. Sad but I am tired of seeing a crappy product.  I thought MA could get us respectable.  We are a half step above bottom dwellers and sinking.

Did someone else recruit them or am I missing something here?
 
Have faithThe light switch will turn on soon.
Then we'll have them right where we want them in May.

Depaul, no way.  They are a good basketball team.  We probably lose at Butler and at Gtown.  

I see 1 more win this season and that is at home vs butler.  Outside of that, I dont see us winning another game.
 
Our propensity to dig big holes early in season is becoming a tradition. SJU should open a coal mine.
 
Poor effort. Poor coaching. Passes were lazy. Guys can't catch a pass nor finish at the rim. The season is a shame. Good players change up their game if one aspect isn't working. No one on the team did. Good point from the commentators on us looking for contact rather than finishing today. 

I Love St. John's and watching them but for the rest of this year, that lil bit of hope that we all watch with won't be there. We are not that good
